At 4am, Joey announced on Weibo that Mui Mui has passed away: "You weren't my pet, you were my family. 12 years, you were there with me and experienced all the changes I went through...I hope the UFO Hins Cheung saw isn't used to take you away...we will meet again in our next life."
Joey said she took Mui Mui to the animal hospital when she got back to HK and the doctor said she died the night before. She said: "I took her home, so she can leave in the most familiar place. Over the last 10 years, my brother and I are used to it. The peak was when we had 8 cats, then we gave 3 away and had 5 left. With Mui Mui gone, 3 have already died. Now I only have 2 cats left. I will give them the best cat food and let them have a pleasant life."
