Kay Tse Joins Stars Shine as the 'First Sister', Fala Chen No Where To Be Seen

After the whole contract dispute with Universal Music earlier this year, Kay Tse has finally settled the issue and officially joined Stars Shine. Yesterday she attended the 'Stars Shine International 3rd Anniversary' press conference and the company's boss Herman Ho announced Kay is now an artist under them.

Stars Shine artists including Super Girls, Linda Chung, Joyce Cheng, Elanne Kong, Herbert Wu and Alfred Hui attended to celebrate Kay joining them. However the rumored 'Fallen First Sister', Fala Chen, was no where to be seen.

Kay was asked if she has replaced Fala as the 'First Sister'? Kay sweet talked: "Don't say that, we are all a big family!" She reveals the earliest for her new album to release is next year. When asked if she's at a disadvantage at the music awards at the end of the year? She said: "My goal isn't to compete for the awards, my works are the most important!"

Joyce expressed Stars Shine will 'rise up' once Kay joins the company, she said: "Kay is amazing, she's so successful with both her career and family! I will have to work even harder to lose weight!" Young 'see mui' Jinny Ng stuck close to Herman, she expressed "I hope Boss will make more arrangements for me to shoot TVB series and participate in their game shows."

Kay Tse finally steps back into TVB, everybody embraces her

Due to the HKRIA dispute with TVB, former Universal Music singer Kay Tse had not been on TVB for over two years. Yesterday she finally makes a comeback at TVB's Jade Singers Red and White Battle blessing ceremony. Other artists including Joey Yung, William Chan and Sherman Chung attended as well.

Kay reveals she already completed all the paper work for the contract termination with Universal, but she cannot reveal anything related to the money. She said: "I had to give back the initial payment, which is reasonable. Today, I've gained my freedom and it's a happy event. I greatly anticipate my participation this time."

As soon as Kay stepped back into TVB, many of the staff and her colleagues came to give her hugs and asked her for autographs. When asked if she'll sign a TVB singer's contract? She said: "Take the next steps first." She admits she is currently in the process of selecting her new record company and hopes she can appear on TVB and other TV stations in the future. Yesterday Kay also met her husband Louis Cheung there, and when reporters asked them to take pictures together, the two were shy at first, but later generously shook hands and took pictures.

Kay Tse gets in shape for action film

Kay Tse On Kay, Fama, Joyce Cheng Yun Yi and Rubberband yesterday attended a voter registration concert. Kay and Universal's contract termination issue has not been resolved yet.
She joked that even if she registered to vote she might not be able to help herself, but lately her manager has been working hard on it and she was in no hurry.

Since music was on hold Kay focused on movies instead. Next month she will work on a costume action film. Because her character excels in martial arts and handheld weapons, she has been learning poses and stance. Also due to her agility in the film, Kay has been working hard on losing weight to be convincing with her performance.

She hoped to lose ten pounds. Kay would study martial art with her husband's elder and her husband knew Wing Chun as well. Kay said, "I know all he knows, and this time I have to wield weapons."
