2AM is ready for spring with release of album + MV for “One Spring Day”

It’s finally March and spring is in the air, which means 2AM is making their return with their new album ‘One Spring Day‘!

‘One Spring Day’ features a total of nine tracks that will get your heart ready for the new season. For their comeback, 2AM is proving themselves as the representative ballad idol group with the help of talented musicians Epitone Project , No Reply, pianist Yiruma, and more, who participated in the album.

2AM shared, “This is our comeback after a one year hiatus. We returned with the most 2AM-esque music so we ask for your love and support.”

2PM & 2AM’s “One Day” full PV released

As announced previously, 2PM and 2AM have come together to form a special unit group.

They will also be releasing a documentary, titled ‘b, Story of 2PM & 2AM‘, with their collaborative track “One Day” as the theme song.

After revealing the album cover as well as the teaser of the PV for the upcoming single, the two groups have unveiled the full PV for “One Day”!

The PV was just now released officially on Sony Music’s YouTube channel and is sure to be one that will please fans of both groups as it showcases the members looking spiffy in suits!

Jo Kwon admits his first kiss was with After School’s Lizzy

2AM member Jo Kwon admitted that his first kiss took place on television.

On the April 16th broadcast of MBC‘s ‘Good Day‘, Jo Kwon opened up about his first kiss that was briefly talked about on MBC’s ‘Radio Star‘.

The singer who bashfully refused to reveal any detail information on ‘Radio Star’ admitted during his interview with ‘Good Day’ that his first kiss took place on a sitcom.

Jo Kwon previously took on a role on MBC’s hit sitcom ‘All My Love‘, and filmed a kiss scene with After School member Lizzy.

The singer also talked about his muscular physique. “I don’t have to exercise regularly to maintain my body shape anymore. When people see me wearing long-sleeves, they tend to think I’m rather skinny. But when I wear short sleeves in the summer, a lot of people are surprised.”

2PM and 2AM to release documentary film ‘Beyond the Oneday’!

2PM and 2AM will be releasing a documentary called ‘Beyond the Oneday’ in Japan!

‘Beyond the Oneday’ is a documentary film that covers the two group’s back stage at the JYP Nation concert in Japan last year. It will also include footage of their daily activities during their time off and cuts of interviews with the members of each group.

The film will release in theaters on June 30th, 2012 JST, and tickets will be available for pre-sale on April 21st. Fans who pre-order tickets will be treated to a “clear file” (a plastic sleeve that holds documents), which can be used as a bag, and an invitation to a gathering attended by 2PM and 2AM!

Jo Kwon reveals why he never dated during his 8 years as a trainee

On the March 22nd broadcast of KBS 2TV‘s ‘Star Life Theater‘, 2AM‘s Jo Kwon revealed the reason behind why he never dated during his 8 long years as a trainee.

The singer visited where junior trainees were gathered and gave them advice based on his experience as a trainee.

“I had never dated during my 8 years of trainee days,” he said. “In fact, seeds of love start to sprout during trainee days. There was this one girl during my trainee days who had feelings for me, but I told her ‘we shouldn’t be like this. We’re about to debut soon. You stepped foot in here because your dream was to become a singer, just like I did. But if we date and end up getting caught, what do you think will happen?‘”

Jo Kwon then began reminiscing about the time when he debuted saying, “I’m very realistic. I never really had interest in dating, and only had thoughts of wanting to debut quickly. Once I debuted under 2AM after 8 long years and appeared on stage, that’s when I heard the cheers coming to us from so many people. The feeling you get at that moment is something I can’t describe in words.”

He continued, “That’s the reason why I’m still a singer. I don’t need anything else. The moment I stand on stage, my heart begins to race uncontrollably. When I see fans cheering while holding up placards and our light sticks, I couldn’t be any happier.”

J.Y. Park didn’t know 2AM’s “I Wonder If You Hurt Like Me” would be such a big hit

J.Y. Park agreed that 2AM‘s new hit, “I Wonder If You Hurt Like Me” was a good song.

On March 15th, J.Y. Park wrote via his official Twitter page, “I had no idea 2AM’s “I Wonder If You Hurt Like Me” would be such a big hit. I was hurt when my song was rejected and this song was selected as the title track, but I guess I can just sing this song myself later on.”

2AM returned with their new album ‘F. Scott Fitzgerald’s Way Of Love‘ after a long year and a half hiatus, and their title song “I Wonder If You Hurt Like Me” drew attention as it was composed by Kim Do Hoon and written by Park Si Hyuk, rather than J.Y. Park himself.

Immediately upon release, “I Wonder If You Hurt Like Me” became a chart-topper on sites such as Melon, Mnet, CyMusic, Naver Music, Bugs Music, and more.
