Joel Chan has no plans for a comeback

Ever since his breakup with heiress girlfriend Florinda Ho, actor Joel Chan has resumed his mediocre lifestyle, made worse by the latest reports of his losing a spokesperson deal with Regen Medical Group, HK Channel reported.

However, despite rumours of his penniless state, it was reported that the "Bottled Passion" actor has done nothing to improve it.

TVB Executive Virginia Lok revealed that there was no news from Joel at all that indicated his interest in making a comeback with his former employer. The actor previously angered the company by neglecting his acting responsibilities to go on long trips with his heiress girlfriend.

When asked if the station will take him back, Virginia stated, "TVB did not receive any calls from Joel showing his interest in coming back to act."

On the other hand, producer Lee Tim Sing is supportive of Joel.

"People go through good and bad times. Young people need a job; if I have any suitable roles for Joel later, I will include him."

While the actor is still hiding from the media, the opposite can be said of his ex-girlfriend, Florinda Ho. The casino heiress, who has been working hard to lose weight, was recently seen selling clothes and shoes that were gifts from Joel to a used clothing shop called Chew Close.

Last month 36 year old Joel Chan flew to England in hope to rescue his relationship with 24 year old Florinda Ho. After three weeks, Joel finally arrives at the London Heathrow Airport to catch his flight back to HK. Unfortunately, Florinda was no where to be seen, he was at the airport alone. He stopped for an interview with reporters.

Reporter: Broke up with Florinda?

Joel: (expressionless)

Reporter: After this trip with Florinda, is the relationship over?

Joel: (smiles) The relationship is fine.

Reporter: Coming back to HK, did you plan to marry Florinda?

Joel: (calm expression) I have never said anything about marriage.

Reporter: Patch up relationship successful?

Joel: (smiles) I never publicize my relationship issues.

Reporter: You and Florinda are doing fine?

Joel: (firm tone) There had never been issues in our relationship.

Yesterday afternoon at 5pm, Joel appeared at the HK airport alone with his luggage. He had sunglasses on, dressed very casually, didn't shave or gel his hair. He looked like he was in a pretty good mood. There were 50 reporters waiting for him at the airport, Joel stood still for pictures. When asked whether he failed on trying to reconcile with Florinda? He did not respond. It was rumored he has credit card debts? He finally spoke up: "I'm not responding to false news. (It was rumored you're in debt?) No, that is not the truth." With his hands together, Joel said: "Thanks you."

Status Changed to "Single"

Two hours later, Florinda changed her status on Facebook. Her status went from "In a Relationship with Joel Chan" to "Single". She also announced on Weibo: "I saw reporters trying to interview my mother and Mr. Chan (Joel) getting defamed. I feel sorry for them. Joel Chan proposed to Florinda again

After reports saying that controversial couple Joel Chan and Florinda Ho have patched things up, it was recently rumoured that the former TVB actor has lately proposed to his heiress girlfriend.

Asianpopnews website reported that according to a mutual friend, Joel, who rushed to London after hearing that Florinda was ill due to food poisoning, used the opportunity to woo her back by taking care of the casino heiress attentively.

The source reported that Florinda, softened by Joel's gesture, finally agreed to reconcile. However, the actor used the opportunity to propose to her again.

After making the decision to chase after his lady love to London last week, it was rumoured that Joel Chan and Florinda Ho have finally rekindled their relationship.

Jayne Stars reported that on 12 April, Joel set off to London boarding a Cathay Pacific flight, allegedly after borrowing money from friends for his airfare.

It was also reported that the former TVB actor also arrived at the Hong Kong International Airport by the Turbo Jet flight from Macau, and directly checked in to his flight through the custom terminals at the pier in order to avoid the paparazzi.

Another rumour surfaced regarding Joel Chan and Florinda Ho's breakup, with sources claiming that the former TVB actor has been struggling with enormous debt after the actor paid a hefty separation fee to ex-wife.

According to Asianpopnews website, Joel Chan, who was rumoured to have been driven out by Florinda due to his massive credit card debts recently, allegedly owed his former wife, Ponny Yeung 18 months of alimony.

The actor, who reportedly forked out HKD500,000 of separation fee to Ponny to sign the divorce papers immediately, had earlier agreed to pay her a regular sum of alimony monthly but has failed to do so.

Rather than working diligently to build his career, Joel spent his time dating the rich heiress, and led a lavish lifestyle that includes high-class dining, luxury beach resorts getaway and using branded products.
