Bernice Liu is happy without TVB

Former TVB actress, Bernice Liu revealed that her life has been normal yet fantastic since leaving the company.

According to Popular Asians website, the actress, who left the company in 2011 after 10 years, has already filmed several mainland Chinese dramas after signing with mainland Hunan TV.

The actress said, "I really want to thank TVB because without them, the Bernice Liu today would not exist."

Bernice continued, "I really like the company I am working with now. There are no exploitations. I get to chase my own dreams. What's even better is that I get to know others who have the same dream as me, and we all get along really well. I am very happy."

Apart from working with Hunan TV, Bernice Liu has also worked with Hong Kong's Now TV, Cable TV, Phoenix TV, and has filmed a musical drama, "Fantasy Love Song 201314" with William So for TVB's upcoming rival, HKTV.

After winning the Miss Chinese International crown in 2001, Bernice gained fame through her portrayal as "Princess Sum Tim" in the long-running TVB sitcom, "Virtues of Harmony". Her whirlwind romance with Moses Chan since 2005 hit rock bottom when the media found out about the relationship in early 2011, and was made worse when she was caught on a date with rich heir, Alastair Lam.

The actress stated, "I was young. At the time, everything was just for fun. Now, it's different. I choose this to be my career. I know what it takes to be a public figure, and I know the responsibilities I have."

Bernice Liu speeds up shooting of CTI's musical in order to rush back to Mainland

Bernice Liu and William So were shooting for CTI's new musical Fairytale Love Song 201314 at Admiralty for a dancing in the rain scene. This was also Bernice's last scene. William said: "Bernice has to get back to Mainland for work." Bernice frankly expressed because she accepted another Mainland drama, she had to finish shooting her scenes first, making William and the rest of the crew shoot day and night. Bernice Liu denies Ricky Wong forced her to get botox; CTI introduces 3 new series

Yesterday CTI held a press conference to introduc their three new series - Still Have Time to Love You Again (還來得及再愛你), Amazing Century (驚異世紀) and Fairytale Love Song 201314 (童話戀曲201314). The majority of CTI's artists are made up of former TVB artists including Bernice Liu, Sek Sau, Dominic Lam, Sin Ho Ying, Kwok Fung, Al Wai, Savio Tsang, Chan On Ying. Other artists include Danson Tang, Michelle Wai, Kelvin Kwan, William So and Jason Chan.

Estimated to have 700 employees by year end

CTI chairman Ricky Wong expressed the government is wrapping up with the procedures of issuing him a free-to-air television license. He has confidence he can get the approval for the license and hopes to have stock up on many TV series productions to start the new station. Currently, there are over 300 employees in CTI which includes both artists and behind-the-scenes crew. It is estimated that there will be 700 employees by the end of the year and 100 university graduates have been recruited for training on scriptwriting and directing.

Bernice Liu tells all about messy breakup with

Hong Kong actress Bernice Liu was portrayed by the Hong Kong media as a gold digger who broke her then-boyfriend Moses Chan's heart, and started dating wealthy businessman Alistair Lam last year.

However, the actress revealed in a recent magazine interview that this version of how her relationship with Chan ended is very far from the truth, reported Hong Kong media.
