Ella Chen plays matchmaker for Hebe Tian

Taiwanese girl group S.H.E recently went on popular variety program Here Comes Kangxi to promote their new album The Flowers Are Blossoming Again.

During the recording, Ella Chen revealed that she is actively looking out for 'good guys' to introduce to Hebe Tian, the only member in the group who is still single.

Ella once spotted a suitable candidate at a dinner gathering. To everyone's surprise, the guy failed to recognize Hebe and even asked about her occupation.

Though the two were said to very compatible, Ella sighed, "It's still a passive situation right now. If there's any 'action', I'd definitely announce it."

"You revealed everything! I wouldn't dare to meet him now," Hebe exclaimed as her member spilled the beans.

The 29-year-old also lamented that her two happily married girlfriends often displayed their loving relationship with their husbands in front of her. She went on to describe how she would play with her phone, while the two wives sit on their hubbies' laps to have lunch.

Ella Chen claims that she is not pregnant with a Dragon baby

Ella Chen, who will be holding a wedding banquet this Saturday (May 5), has said that she is not pregnant with a Dragon baby.

The singer expressed her intention to have a child only after two years of marriage during her wedding dress fitting session yesterday. Ella explained that she and hubby Alvin Lai hope to "use the two years to enjoy life as a couple" and emphasized that she is not pregnant at the moment.

The 30-year-old also shared that for the wedding banquet taking place on May 5, the couple had invited their good friends including veteran singer Jody Chiang. Ella admitted that she is "excited yet nervous" for the wedding ceremony. She also expressed her worries at being made fun of during her nuptial night as she too had taken part in teasing many pairs of newlyweds previously and had "made a lot of enemies".

Ella Chen: Hebe Tien is too rational to fall in love

It has been a decade since Taiwanese girl group S.H.E. joined showbiz. While Ella Chen and Selina Jen have found the love of their life, Hebe Tien, the youngest member of the trio, remains a bachelorette, and is seldom caught in any romance rumours since her debut.

Ella, who will be tying the knot next month, is beginning to worry for her best friend. The Perfect Two star recently appeared on a radio show to share her love story, and interesting gossips about S.H.E. She also made a shout-out to her fellow group mate, Hebe Tien, saying, "Throw away your rationality and follow you heart!"

According to Ella, Hebe's relationship life is not smooth because she is too rational, while claiming that she and Selina are both "fools of love". She said, "Whenever we face a problem in our relationships, we will cry but Hebe will always be calm. This may be the reason why Selina and I are able to find love first."

Ella also revealed that that the three of them did not get along well when they first got together to form a group, but it was tolerance that held them together through the ten years.

Ella Chen hints of a good night sleep on her nuptial night

S.H.E. member Ella Chen held her engagement banquet at Pingtung on Apr 15. Her in-laws had specially flown over from Malaysia to attend the banquet.

Ella and her husband, Alvin Lai went through the traditional rituals in the morning before the engagement banquet in the afternoon. Ella offered tea to her in-laws and in return, received a red packet to signify the completion of the ceremony.
After the engagement banquet ended at night, the newlyweds hurried to their new home in Taipei, probing the media to question if the pair had enjoyed their nuptial night.

Through her record company, H.I.M. International, Ella revealed that she was delighted but tired over the engagement dinner. The singer explained, "I woke up at 6am and I was very tired (after the dinner)! After going through the wedding gifts, (we) went straight to bed."

The singer also added that she had a good night sleep, hinting at details on her nuptial night. Ella had also expressed her wish that her subsequent banquets at Taipei and Malaysia will turn out to be successful as well.

Ella has reportedly yet to confirm the number of attendees for the couple's wedding banquets in Taipei and Malaysia. However, it is believed that approximately 150 tables will be booked for the three banquets in total.

Ella Chen hopes Hebe Tien will find her true love too

Now that S.H.E member Ella Chen has found true love, she hoped the same would happen to good friend and band mate Hebe Tien.

Ella, together with her Malaysian fiancé Alvin Lai, headed to Guam Island over the weekend with an entourage of 30 people for her wedding photo shoot. Once there, the group visited the various tourist attractions, including Lovers' Cliff, which was Ella's favourite destination. This place is one of the must-visit places for couples on their honeymoon, because according to the island's legend, couples who ring the bell, found on the top of the cliff, three times, will have a long and happy life together.

The singer, who believed in the legend, made her fiancé ring the bell together, before she and Hebe rang the bell together again, hoping that the latter could share her happiness.

There was also a special place on the cliff where couples can write their names on locks and have them locked there, symbolising 'together forever'. There, Ella found a couple lock inscribed with the phrase "Sunshine Hebe" and exclaimed that it "is a good omen. I hope Hebe will find her true love too".

That night, the group enjoyed a dinner by the beach, and was watching a samba dance performance, when Ella and Alvin were asked to join in the dance on stage. Ella, who is known for her bubbly character, shook and twisted with all her might; on the other hand, Alvin did not know what he should do, tickling everyone present with his awkwardness on stage.
