Eddie Cheung ill-treated by TVB

Tired, injured, but still filming, TVB actor Eddie Cheung recently hinted at his displeasure of working on the upcoming drama, "Sniper Attack 2013".

As reported on Jayne Stars website, Eddie, who recently injured one of his ears during an explosion scene, might have fully recovered from the said injury, but his body is still not in the best of shape.

The actor expressed, "I think I've caught a cold. I haven't been feeling 100 percent well. Since the production is coming to an end soon, my rundown sheet is packed."

Eddie revealed his jam-packed filming schedule, stating, "I started filming location scenes today at 6 in the morning. It will be nonstop filming until 7pm, when I continue to film some studio scenes. That will keep going until 9am the next morning, when I will go do some location shoots again.

That will last all the way until night too. It is thirty hours in a row. Filming movies are not as laborious."

The actor then added in afterthought, "They don't care about [us]. It is all about getting the mission done. How will anything good come out of it?"

Eddie Cheung Shoots Explosion Scene, gets a Painful Cut on His Ear

Last night Eddie Cheung was shooting an explosion scene for TVB new series Sniper Attack 2013 at TVB City, but the broken glass pieces landed on him and cut his ear. He later posted a photo on Weibo of him on the ground wiping away the blood from his ear. In the photo, Eddie's eyes were shut tightly, implying how painful the accident was. The staff helped him clean the cut. Eddie wrote: "I'm really hurt, so painful!" Netizens left comments reminding him to be more careful.

[The Sun] phoned Eddie to comfort him, he expressed the injury was a fortune out of misfortune. Because he had prior experience with explosion scenes, he knew to turn his face away during the shoot, otherwise the broken glass could have cut his face instead!

He recalled: "While we were filming, I felt pain on my right ear, but I thought I'll just endure though it until the cameras stop rolling. However, it was just too painful! I started crying instantly and then my ear was bleeding. Perhaps because the ear has a lot of nerves, so it was especially painful. Luckily, no glass pieces went inside. It's a minor injury, so I didn't have to go to the hospital."

Eddie Cheung's 50th Birthday, Wife Surprises Him On the Set

Eddie Cheung, who is currently shooting TVB new series Sniper Attack 2013 celebrated his 50th birthday with the cast. His wife made a special surprise visit on the set with a birthday cake and kiss. It was such a sweet moment. Eddie and his wife have been married for several years and are still stuck together like glue.

Regarding Eddie's wife surprise visit, he said: "My wife didn't tell me before that she'll visit me on the set, I'm really surprised! This morning we were filming for 3 hours before getting off work, so I never thought there be a celebration. In this field, I'm used to it." In the series, Eddie plays a strict SDU instructor and personally does the action scenes himself. He currently looks pretty fit and of course his wife, who runs a beauty salon, took most of the credit.

Also, Eddie and his old partner Kathy Chow play a couple in this series. Since the two have collaborated several times before, Mrs. Cheung is not worried at all. For Eddie's birthday, Kathy gave him a checker designed bag. Eddie quickly took a picture and posted it on Weibo to thank her.

Eliza Sam Throws Cute Image Away

Yesterday Eddie Cheung, Michael Tse, Kate Tsui, Eliza Sam and Alice Chan attended the costume fitting of TVB new series Sniper Attack 2013. Eddie expressed he pays a serious SDU (Special Duty Unit) instructor and has poor relationships with people. He also develops a relationship with Kathy Chow. When asked if he'll have to be more physical active for this role? He laughed and said he had always been physical active, and has absolutely no fear if he has to do topless scenes. Eddie said: "There are going to be so many SDU members, definitely wil have to show some meat. Perhaps we'll have some showering scenes, relax!"

The 'Home Boy Young Goddess' Eliza Sam puts her cute image behind her and plays the tomboy SDU sniper. She laughed: "The producer told me not to smile so much!"

When asked if she'll have scenes of her getting wet while catching the bad guys? Eliza joked and begged for mercy: "Don't write about it! Otherwise, they'll actually put it in the script! (Any sexy scenes?) No! I have never been sexy!" Eliza reveals she will put on her uniform more often, so she can better get into character.

Alice said she plays a triad Big Sister, she'll be doing illegal business and have many sexy costumes. Also, she'll have several men around her, so lucky!
