JYJ’s Yoochun goes dark and tough for fashion magazine ‘Singles’

JYJ‘s Yoochun recently completed a photo shoot with fashion magazine ‘Singles‘ for their April edition, as well as an interview.

The concept of the shoot was based on his most recent drama role, Han Jung Woo in ‘I Miss You,’ a tough detective. The shots were darker and tough-looking, with cuts of Yoochun charismatically gazing into the camera.

In the interview he stated, “I’m aiming for acting that looks natural. Honestly, I still need make-up to act better. I have a lot of things to fix because I suddenly started acting straight out of my singing career. However, if I get a little older, I don’t think I’ll worry as much about how I look. I want to try very strong roles, or try my hand at action roles.”

JYJ’s Yoochun deletes his Twitter account

Back on July 20th, JYJ‘s Park Yoochun asked his followers if he should delete his Twitter account. His fellow member Jaejoong disagreed and responded to keep his account. However, it seems Yoochun ultimately decided to go ahead and delete and his account, @6002theMicky no longer exists.

On August 1st, he posted one final tweet to his followers:

I am always so grateful that you are always cheering me on and showing me your love and support. I want to greet you guys in the future with great music, acting, and promotions…^^ Once again, I am sincerely grateful and I love you!! <3 ^^

JYJ’s Yoochun seriously considered adopting a younger sister over the past two years

JYJ‘s Yoochun was interviewed at a restaraunt in Kangnam, in which he shockingly revealed, “I really love daughters. My mother and I seriously considered adopting a younger sister.”

During the start of the interview, Yoochun could not conceal his excitement at the mention of Kim So Hyun, the child actress who played the young Sena on SBS‘s ‘Rooftop Prince‘. Yoochun stated, “She is so cute. I want a younger sister or daughter like her. I really do love daughters.”

Fans were very curious as to how Yoochun and So Hyun have such a close relationship, in which they hold numerous conversations over Twitter, even though they have never had a scene together in ‘Rooftop Prince’. To this, Yoochun explained, “There were many times when our waiting rooms were close by or times when we shared the same waiting room. Therefore, So Hyun and I saw each other a lot . I spent a lot of time with So Hyun because the waiting time [for 'Rooftop Prince'] was long. So Hyun would come find me first and bring me food to eat and ask to take pictures together. It was really cute”.

Furthermore, Yoochun revealed his past consideration of adopting a younger sister and stated, ”Whenever I went to welfare buildings or shelters for children to volunteer or make a donation, I was heartbroken when I saw the children. I also have memories of when I went through a difficult period because I lived away from my family, but I feel like those children must be having a much more difficult time. I wanted to give someone as much love as I can, which is why I considered adoption for the past two years. It was a serious dilemma for me.”

The interviewer stated that Yoochun’s smiling face turned serious in an instant when he discussed the reason for not following through with the adoption. Yoochun stated, “I felt that a celebrity is a profession in which you cannot give all your love to one person. I gave up the decision to adopt because I felt like it would be an irresponsible act.”

Subsequently after discussing the topic of marriage with Yoochun, the interviewer wrote, “He is giving much thought about marriage, which is why I think he said that he will publicly reveal his relationship if he starts to date this time. With dating and marriage in mind, Yoochun wants to meet her in a sincere manner. He doesn’t have a concrete plan set for marriage, but his face brightened as soon as he began to fantasize about having a daughter.”

Yoochun said, “I really love daughters. I fantasize about having a loving family. When I marry I think I will be able to have a daughter like So Hyun. At the minimum, I think there is a 70% chance that I will have a pretty daughter. If she’s my daughter, she’ll definitely be pretty,” causing himself to laugh.

JYJ’s Yoochun releases new CF for ‘Iced Tea TiO’

JYJ‘s Park Yoochun once again proved that he could display his sense of humor in his acting.

Food Manufacturer Dong Suh selected Park Yoochun as their official endorsement model and recently released their newest television ad for their product, ‘Iced Tea TiO‘.

In the CF, Park Yoochun is trying to cool off the heat of the summer day with his iced tea, standing at a platform for his train to arrive.

But before he gets to sip his tea, a sudden gust of wind hits the skirt of a woman standing near him.

Seeing this, the well-mannered gentleman Yoochun tries to save her from embarrassment by holding her skirt down with his bag.

After the wind passes, he realizes that everyone has their attention focused on him. Embarrassed, he tries to remove his bag, but in the process tears off a piece of her skirt that was caught.

In the end, he lends her his button up, and Yoochun and his new friend awkwardly cool off by taking a drink of Iced Tea TiO.

Park Yoochun reportedly offered big laughs to the staff members on set, as his acting abilities have improved drastically, and seemed much more natural this time around.

JYJ opens up about verbally abusing fans

During a press conference held in Chile on March 8, JYJ opened up about the recording of them verbally abusing fans in 2009. The JYJ members read their prepared statements with grim faces.

(As we reported earlier: An online board uploaded an audio file of JYJ’s Jaejoong and Yoochun verbally and physically abusing fans. In the audio file, Jaejoong can be heard swearing at “Sasaeng Fans.” Sasaeng fans are extreme fans that engage in behaviors that are dangerously close to being stalkers.)

Yoochun began, “After debuting in 2004 we have received a lot of love from the public. However, we have also been pained because of Sasaeng fans for nearly 8 years. It felt like prison because someone would always follow me, watch me, and would try to share everything about me. No matter how I tried to get myself out, I had to continue receiving mental pain while feeling trapped.”

Junsu stated, “I endured the pain because Saesang fans are still fans. However, they used our identification to expose our private phone calls and GPS trackers were put on our cars. There were incidents of breaking and entering where a fan would take pictures of our private items. Some fans would try to kiss me while I was asleep and some fans tried to collide with our car in a taxi to see us in person.”

Junsu continued, “Our lives began to crumble as we would always be recorded, touched, and derided. We ask to be allowed at least a bare minimum of living as a human being, while we endure this indescribable pain.”

Jaejoong stated, “We want to give an apology for our unjust behavior in the past. We are sorry because of all the fans that worry for us and share our pain. In the future, we will think about the people that love us as public figures whenever we are in mentally difficult situations. We will think about the responsibility we have and never breakdown.”
