Yumiko Cheng returns to HK in wheel chair: "Feels Good to be Home"

Last month, Yumiko Cheng and her boyfriend Andy flew to Phukut, Thailand to celebrate a friend's birthday, but unfortunately she accidentally fell off the 3rd floor while taking pictures. She was in a coma for two days and remained at the local hospital on bed rest for several days. Yesterday her condition got better, so accompanied by her boyfriend, Jordan Chan and her doctor, Yumiko safety returns to HK.

When Yumiko landed in HK, she came out of the gate in a wheel chair and headed straight to the HK Sanatorium & Hospital in the ambulance provided by her insurance company. Wearing a neck brace, Yumiko allowed pictures to be taken by the media and then accepted an interview in her wheel chair, she expressed: "The doctor said I couldn't get on the plane due to my health condition, but this time the doctor was with me the whole time checking on my blood pressure."

At the time of the accident, friends rushed Yumiko to the hospital. Fortunately the local hospital had quality care, the friend expressed: "The tree branch didn't get into Yumiko's lungs, but falling off from so high up, the force is still strong. She just got a shift in her cervical vertebrae. There were a lot of bamboo at the bottom, luckily her fall was slightly slanted otherwise she could have fell on the bamboo." The strong Yumiko did not cry at all, and faced her accident optimistically. It is estimated that she will need to rest for 6 months.
