Myolie Wu Feels Stressed Portraying a Spy in 'Rosy Business 3'

Myolie Wu and Edwin Siu were costume fitting for the shooting of TVB Sales Presentation 2013 promotion clip for new series Rosy Business III. In the series, Myolie plays a spy and will be in a love triangle with Wayne Lai and Edwin. The Rosy Business franchise had excellent TV ratings, therefore it is inevitable that the public will compare Myolie and Sheren Tang. Myolie expressed without hesitation that she is greatly pressured by this. She laughed: "If we treat this as an entirely new series, I would not be as stressed. I'm feeling scared and contradictory, but pressure is motivation too." When speaking of this year's TVB Awards, Myolie said she never thought about getting the TV Queen award.

Following The Last Steep Ascent, Edwin has been in Detective Columbo and now he's given an important role in Rosy Business III. All three series were produced by Lee Tim Shing. When speaking of Edwin becoming Tim Gor's favorite? He said in an interview over the phone that he's very grateful of all the opportunities Tim Gor gave him. He will also be having a lot more screen time in the upcoming TVB Anniversary Series The Confidant and this year there is a chance he'll get the 'Most Improved Actor' award.

Pinky Cheung Prays All Night, In Search Missing Church Friends Out At Sea

Last night, a serious collision occurred involving a pleasure boat and a ferry near Lamma Island. The tragedy marked the most grieving day to the people in Hong Kong. Artistes in the entertainment industry have all been sending their condolence on Weibo. Former ATV artist, Pinky Cheung, is currently in Taiwan and was alarmed to hear that a friend from her church, a family of four, were missing out at sea. Pinky and her Christian friends from the industry immediately prayed for them. This morning, Pinky was notified that the family was found and rescued, it was then she felt some relief. After the Lamma Island ferry collision, artists who are Christians including Pinky, Wong Cho Lam and Ada Choi were praying on Weibo together. They hoped those who died RIP and more survivors will be rescued.

Pinky is currently in Kaohsiung (Taiwan) to celebrate her birthday. Yesterday she accepted a phone interview and said she had been praying the entire night for the missing people, "A friend told me that the friend from church left a message on Facebook letting us know they are safe, really thank God!" Pinky can cry easily, if she was in HK and found out about the accident, she would definitely feel a lot more sorrow, "The people who died are gone, I will pray for them to RIP. Those who are still living in this world, forget the pain as soon as possible, stay strong! We all still need to live on."

Wong Cho Lam said: "I didn't know that family. I learned from the church that there were several Christian families on that ferry. There was one family of four that lost their child. (Will you call to comfort them?) I haven't directly contacted them, but I will pray for them. Once there's news, I will let our brothers know on Weibo."

Bosco Wong films awkwardly with Myolie's close friend Mandy Wong

This is Bosco Wong and Myolie Wu's first Mid-Autumn Festival after their break up. Busy working on their own jobs, Bosco is currently focused entirely on shooting for his new series A Good Heart Goes Haywire where he works with Myolie's close friend Mandy Wong.

Last night, Bosco, Mandy and Vincent Wong were shooting a scene by the harbor. The scene was about the three of them as good friends, chatting by the harbor. It appeared Mandy had a secret she was hiding from the other two, so Bosco and Vincent pretended to push her into the water attempting to force her speak the truth. Although the filming location was a quiet area, Bosco still had fans waiting to see him. There were also a lot of onlookers. There was one fan girl who wanted to take pictures with Bosco, but unfortunately each time she approached him at the wrong time, when the cameras were rolling and Bosco was forced to politely decline. When the cameras stopped rolling, he took initiative and walked up to take a picture with her. The fan felt so loved!

Earlier a magazine reported Myolie Wu and her close friends including Mandy Wong and Nancy Wu were badmouthing Bosco together. Collaborating with her good friend's ex-boyfriend, Mandy felt a little awkward. Off cameras, Bosco and Mandy had no interaction. Bosco only chatted with Vincent, while Mandy sat alone to the side. It was understood, Myolie's other good friend, Elaine Yiu, is also in this series, but she knows Bosco more and didn't feel awkward around him.

Back to being single, Myolie is often having parties with her friends and often posts the pictures on Weibo. She is actively preparing herself for a new relationship.

Steven Ma Admits He Has Reconciled With Girlfriend

Yesterday Steven Ma was shooting a commercial for a catering group. He had to demonstrate how to cook up six different lobster dishes. He laughed and said it feels like he's doing a cooking show.

When asked about the recent rumor that he and his girlfriend reconciled? Steven generously admitted: "That's correct! My girlfriend and I did get back together and our relationship is very stabled. However, I'm not sure how we will develop in the future. After all, I am happy with both my work and personal life!" Asked if the catering company will sponsor him lobster to use for his wedding banquet? Steven laughed: "I'm not going to get marry just because of sponsors. If they sponsor me a 100 lobsters, then will I have to host a 100 table banquet?!"

Also, Steven expressed the Mainland series that he filmed earlier will be broadcasting on CCTV soon and welcomes any other TV station to give him acting opportunities.

Raymond Lam sits back waiting to be TV King, 'Highs & Lows' Excellent Ratings

Following Kevin Cheng and Bosco Wong taking advantage of the 'gold digging' opportunities in Mainland, TVB finally gave Raymond time off to shoot a drama in Mainland. It was understood he's going to be paid 200,000 RMB per episode, which means he'll be pocketing a total of 6 million RMB for the 30 episodes drama. However, Raymond is risking the chance of losing the TV King award because the TVB Anniversary Awards is held in December this year, but Raymond will be shooting the new drama in Mainland by then. Fortunately, his competitors haven't really had any breakthroughs this year, therefore Raymond is getting the most noise to become this year's TV King based on his hot 'Wai Sir' image in new series Highs and Lows.

In the past, TVB had always tried to protect Raymond and ensure he gets the market price when he shoots a movie and with the addition of his busy schedule, TVB didn't let him take on Mainland dramas. However, seeing Kevin Cheng, Bosco Wong and Ron Ng making so much off of dramas in Mainland, Raymond proposed to TVB again, in hope they will give him a chance to work in Mainland. As the price is attractive, TVB decided to "let him go this one time".

Raymond accepted the 30 episode costume drama The Purple Hairpin Romance. The script was written by former TVB popular scriptwriter Jia Wai Nam. Raymond will be portraying Lee Yik. As this drama is produced by Michelle Ye, who had previously collaborated with Raymond in 3 series, therefor he is given a 'friendship price'. He will be paid 200,000 RMB per episode, which is comparable to Kevin Cheng's 250,000 RMB per episode. The drama is scheduled to start shooting mid-October in Hengdian and shooting will take approximately 2 months. Yesterday Raymond participated in a concert with Joey Yung in Macau, and reveals he hopes to complete the series by Christmas, so he can get back to HK and prepare for his HK Coliseum concert in January. As he is not sure of the filming schedule, Raymond may not be able to attend the TVB Anniversary Awards.

When asked if he's worried the results may get affected if he's not at the awards ceremony? Raymond said: "If I do get an award, of course I hope to personally accept it back in HK." With that said, if he appears at the awards ceremony, does that imply he's getting an award? He said: "Really? I don't know! When the time comes, I may not be able to come back to HK, then does that mean my chances are gone?"

This year, the TV King and Queen competition is going to be head-to-head. Usually the series broadcasting near the time of anniversary leaves the deepest impression on audience. Raymond's performance as 'Wai Sir' in Highs and Lows is getting better and better and also among the 'TVB biological sons', he is the only one that hasn't experienced the taste of TV King. Each time, he only gets the 'My Favorite TV Male Character' award, so this year his chances of becoming TV King is high. This year Raymond's competitors includes, Kevin Cheng from Ghetto Justice II, Wayne Lai King Makers, Moses Chan The Last Steep Ascent, the dark horses Kenneth Ma The Hippocratic Crush and Chin Kar Lok Divas In Distress.

Raymond expressed it has been a week since Highs and Lows premiere, the TV ratings for each episode is 30 points or higher. The series is already doing very well on the first week and the core of the story hasn't even aired yet, therefore he has high expectations on the ratings. Recently, TVB series have been ending poorly, but Raymond stressed Highs and Lows definitely won't have a bad ending: "Recalling the days when we were wrapping up on filming, there were a lot of large-scale action scenes, very exciting!"

Joey Yung implies celebrated Mid-Autumn Festival with boyfriend Wilfred Lau

Yesterday Joey Yung performed in the Macau SAR National Celebration Concert along with Raymond Lam, William Chan, Vincy Chan, Sherman Chung and Adason Lo. She did a 45 minute performance and had a duet with Raymond, as if it was her own individual concert. Once Joey saw the King of Chok (Raymond), she laughed: "I have rubber clothing on, you won't be able to electrocute me!"

When asked about Mid-Autumn Festival, Joey expressed she carried a little rabbit lantern up the mountain top and enjoyed the moon with family and friends. It had a childhood feeling, "My mom asked if I wanted a lantern, of course I took it! In the past, I thought it was really old-fashioned, but now I cherish it. It was so much fun! When we were walking up the mountain, I saw the lanterns before I saw the people, so it felt like I saw ghost."

It was said Mid-Autumn Festival is suppose to be a reunion between humans and the moon, Joey claimed: "I have a lot of meat on me!" Asked if her boyfriend Wilfred Lau spent the holiday with her too? She said: "My best friend was there." Wilfred gained 20 pounds earlier for the new series he's shooting, Joey was asked if she'll accompany him to lose weight? She laughed loudly: "He can handle it himself! But, he looks better with some fat!"

As for William, he arrived in Macau a few days ago for rehearsal, so he was only able to celebrate the holiday with his colleagues. Yesterday he was back in HK to have dinner with his family. When asked if he enjoyed the moon with girlfriend Charlene Choi? He said: "Ah Sa is filming in Mainland and I don't know where she is. Because the filming locations are always different, I won't be visiting her. " He denied that there are changes in their relationship, he just doesn't want to talk too much about it.

Wong Jing is starting a new film, the Young and Dangerous remake with Him Law as the lead actor. William said: "We shouldn't be comparing, rather we should be flourishing the market together. (Are you worried your body will be compared to Him's?) Since the appearance of the foreign A&F male models earlier, HK girls finally knows what a nice man's body is like, so if there must be comparisons, should compare with them. Actually I'm not purposely trying to get a built body, but I just like to be physical active."
