Rumoured to have gotten engaged in May, the singer was speculated to have kept the event low-key as his girlfriend does not belong to the entertainment business.
Responding to the claims, Vanness clarified that he did not visit Singapore in May but took two days off from his filming to promote a new drama in Korea. The 33-year-old expressed that he "has no idea where the news of my secret marriage came from."
The singer-actor then promised to share the good news when the time comes. He issued a statement on his microblog: "When it comes to marriage, I'll definitely share the good news with everyone and not keep it low-key," which was accompanied by a photo of him with Arissa.
Vanness's manager also expressed that "if both families have dinner together is engagement, then maybe I can be his parent too! They often have meals together, and if they are getting engaged, it will not be such a casual procedure."
