Actress Jun Ji Hyun, who rose to fame through the hit Korean film “My Sassy Girl,” got married on April 13 to her boyfriend Choi Jun Hyuk, the grandson of famous hanbok (traditional Korean dress) designer Lee Young-hee.
Before the wedding, Jun Jin Hyun met with the Korean media, wearing a dress by British fashion designer Jenny Packham.
Some of Korea’s biggest stars attending Jun’s wedding. They include Cha Tae-hyun (Jun’s co-star in “My Sassy Girl”), Lee Young-ae, Jang Hyuk, Kim Soo Ro, and Song Joong-ki.
The wedding was originally scheduled to be held in June but was moved to April due to the filming schedule of Jun Ji Hyun’s new film “The Berlin File.”
The actress will fly to Germany this month to shoot the movie.
Jun Ji Hyun started her career as a model in 1997 and later ventured into showbiz.
She gained international fame through “My Sassy Girl,” which became the second top grossing film in 2001 in South Korea.
Her other films include “White Valentine,” “Il Mare,” “The Uninvited,” “Windstruck,” “Daisy,” “A Man Who Was Super Man,” “Blood: The Last Vampire,” and “Snow Flower and the Secret Fan.”
Her latest film “The Thieves” will be shown this year.
