Ethan Ruan and Tiffany Hsu claim all is well with their romance

Refuting rumours that they have called it quits and dismissing talk of a third party - Korean actress Yoon Eun-hye - coming between them, Ethan Ruan and Tiffany Hsu have insisted that their relationship is very much on track.

Tiffany was speculated to have been affected by the rumours and deleted comments on her micro-blog - a claim she rejected, replying, "(I) wasn't in a bad mood - do I need a reason to delete content on my micro-blog?"

When asked if there were any problems in her relationship, she shared, "We're doing very well, don't worry!"

Ethan, who is currently serving his mandatory military service, commented, "I was shocked (by the rumours) too!" He refuted claims that there was anything going on between him and Eun-hye.

Taiwanese stars Ethan Ruan and Tiffany Hsu once said declared their relationship stable and unchanging, but things are not as smooth-sailing for the couple of four years due to a recent hiccup allegedly involving Korean actress Yoon Eun-hye.

Ethan has been reportedly been making numerous secret phone calls to Eun-hye in recent days without Tiffany's knowledge or consent. When she found out about the calls, she is said to have confronted Ethan about the matter and the two broke up after a heated argument. To add on to that, it was reported that Ethan did not return to their shared home for two weeks during their fight.

Ethan and Eun-hye first met last July on the set while endorsing a certain mobile phone brand. Things were awkward on-set at first but the pair quickly warmed up to each other as sweet-talking Ethan managed to converse with her despite the language barrier.

The two have reportedly since made up after Ethan begged for forgiveness, but Tiffany is said to be re-evaluating the relationship as she believes the trust between the two has since been compromised.

Tiffany and Ethan have both denied the rumours, with her stating, "We didn't have any fight at all - (the reports) say he wasn't home for two weeks but kept catching us together - isn't it contradictory?"
