Gallen Lo Demands an Apology & Compensation from 'Next Magazine'

Last month, Gallen Lo's father passed away and kept the funeral arrangements low-profile. However, Next Magazine reported Gallen isn't filial and used HK$8,000 to lure his ex-wife and current wife to have dinner on the same table. Because Gallen's father passed away and his wife was going through labor in HK, he had to handle both "red" and "black" events, which made it a sensitive situation for him. In regards to Next Magazine's May 8th report, Gallen feels the content is severely fabricated and constitutes to libel. Earlier he issued a written statement with clarification and yesterday he took it a step further by asking his lawyer to send Next Magazine a demand letter. He wants Next Magazine to submit a written apology to him within 3 days and to compensate for damaging his reputation and all financial losses that came with it.

Gallen's ex-wife responded: "That's too exaggerated! There is no way you can get me to do something I'm not comfortable with for HK$8,000. I can easily make that money from working. It's not like I don't have enough to survive. We all did have dinner together, but there was no awkwardness. Actually, Gallen and I have been divorced for so many years, I already let it go! It's not that big of a deal, we are still friends. Also, our son really looks up to him. Our relationship cannot be cut off completely because that won't be good for our son. Gallen Lo Becomes Father Once Again: Baby Girl Sela is 7lbs at Birth

50 year old Gallen Lo married his second wife, 38 year old Sophie Su two years ago and finally produces a beautiful baby. Yesterday morning at around 7am, Sophie Su expressed on Weibo that she first applied a facial mask before heading to the hospital to give birth to her baby daughter. Then around 10am, Sophie and her husband entered the Tsuen Wan Adventist Hospital hand in hand. Finally, Sophie gave birth to a 7 pound, 4 ounces baby girl in the afternoon. The baby girl's English name is Sela (an Israeli name, means 'rock'); the Chinese name has not been decided yet. Sophie chose to give birth via C-section and just got anesthesia on half of her body, she was awake during the birth of her baby. Gallen expressed the process went very smoothly, but he was a little nervous before the birth and kept smoking cigarettes. Gallen Lo spotted on HK streets with eight-month pregnant Sophie Su

Celebrity couple Gallen Lo and Sophie Su was spotted on the streets of Causeway Bay on Monday, where they reportedly shopped for pink and white infant garments, which hint that they are expecting a baby girl.

When asked if he knows of the baby's gender yet, the dad-to-be laughed, 'I do, but I'm not telling.'

Gallen then asked the reporter for directions to Hilary Tsui's boutique in return, claiming to be good friends with the latter's husband, Eason Chan. Though the actor wanted to check out the shop after hearing that it carries lovely apparels, the couple left the boutique empty-handed.

Displaying their bliss uninhibitedly, Gallen and Sophie wore outfits that showed off the couple tattoos on their ankles, and the actor even pinned a badge printed with their portrait on his backpack.

The couple met in 2007 while filming drama Perfect Ending. Gallen, who moved to China after his divorce with Fong Man Yee in 2008, tied the knot with Sophie in 2009 and announced her pregnancy last October.

Gallen Lo Announces his Wife is 3 Months Pregnant

49 year old Gallen Lo remarried Mainland actress Sophie Su in 2009 and the couple had been working hard on getting pregnant. Lately, they had good news to announce. Gallen announced his wife is 3 months pregnant and he's a father again.

Gallen Lo Performs "Seasons of Love" To Repay Joseph Koo's Gratitude

Many people have probably forgotten Gallen Lo debuted as a singer until his performance of Joesph Koo's Seasons of Love (季節) theme song that triggered our memories.

Recently, Gallen Lo moved to live long-term in Mainland. This year he has already done two TV series and is currently busy working on a new drama. Busy to the last minute, Gallen finally made time to fly back to HK and participate in Joseph Koo's concert rehearsal. Gallen went through untold hardships to get this chance to perform on stage and it was all because he wanted to pay a debt of gratitude.

"Many years ago, not long after my debut, I participated in the series Seasons of Love. Not only did Joseph write this theme song for me, but he also personally came to the recording studio to supervise me in this song."

Gallen remembers he was recording in the recording studio of an entertainment record company and today he can still picture the whole scene in detail.

This time, aside from performing Seasons of Love's theme song, he also duet Only Love Is Everlasting (只有情永在) with Joyce Lee. It has been a long time since Gallen has seen Joseph, he frankly expressed he really misses him and will definitely do his best to sing the parts he's responsible for.

Joseph Koo's concert was initially set for four shows, but because of the amazing ticket sales, the sponsor announced adding more shows and discussed with Gallen if he could participate in more than one show? "I will definitely participate, no matter how many shows, I will be there for the all of it. Joseph Koo is the music composer that had the most popular songs in the world. It is definitely an honor to be performing at his concert."
