Kristal Tin "Hums" to an Opportunity to Launch Her First Solo Album

Yesterday Kristal Tin, Priscilla Wong, Roger Kwok, Evergreen Mak, Grace Wong, Whitney Hui, Cheung Wing Hong and the rest of the TVB series Tongue Sword Courtroom held an end-of-filming dinner. It was said Kristal Tin felt displeased because TVB gave Priscilla more screen time and thus the two were rumored on bad terms. Last night at the dinner, Kristal and Priscilla were the center of attention, but the two were chatting happily and taking pictures together, proving that they are not on bad terms. Kristal posted a photo of her and Priscilla on Weibo: "Fate will bring us back together! Add oil!" Priscilla replied: "I am grateful to have met you. Ah Tin, (Kristal) I really want to collaborate with you again!"

Kristal was in a wonderful mood, she revealed she'll be taking two months off after this to complete something big in her life. Actually Kristal is just talking about launching her first solo album. Kristal won this opportunity because one day she was humming her way into the TVB makeup room, someone captured her humming and uploaded it on the internet, which was then spotted by record company owner Paco Wong. He took initiative, contacted Kristal to ask whether she's interested in launching her very own album. Kristal said: "I'll be recording 10 songs this time, just recording covers of my favorite male singers' old songs. I don't have any new songs. (Will you be singing your husband Chapman To's songs?) He only has two songs, and their offensive too. If I make a cover of his songs, then he'll just be suffering in shame! (Your husband doing the photo shoot for the album cover?) I hope to ask my husband to participate too!"

Priscilla Reflect on Her Past, Will Not Mention "6.4" Again

Recently an 1999 episode of RTHK's Hong Kong Connection circulated online (watch here). At the time, 17 year old Priscilla Wong was interviewed and she talked about her "6.4 feelings" (referring to the June Fourth Incident of 1989) on the show. Priscilla said: "I don't regret talking about it. At the time, I was very honest and didn't think it would broadcast again! When one gets older, their views changes. (Is it because you're an artist now, and don't want to talk about politics?) Not related, I'm just afraid it would impact others. (Worried this might hinder your opportunities in Mainland?) No fear, that was said when I was barely 17 years old. I was still a kid. Watching myself again now, I thought it was very funny!" Netizens responded to Priscilla's comment "when one gets older, their views changes." Netizens urged her not to "betray your former self" and named her "Goddess of Democracy". Priscilla said on Weibo: "My middle school teacher anxiously asked me, what does it mean when someone gets older, their views changes? I said, when one gets older they learn to keep their views, beliefs and commitments in their hearts and not to hang it on the side of their mouth. Honestly, I am a little hurt. I felt heartbroken that year. Today allow me to put it all in my heart, don't talk about it, please?"

Chapman To Blasts at TVB Standing Up for his wife Kristal Tin

Recently Chapman To's wife Kristal Tin have been surrounded by gossips. It was rumored while shooting TVB new series The Tongue Sword Courtroom, a high executive gave her co-star Priscilla Wong special treatment by increasing her screen time, causing Kristal to turn into a supporting actress! Yesterday Chapman blasted at TVB on Instagram. Although he did not clearly state that he was referring to the rumor, he scolded TVB: "I truly admire Mrs. To! Sometimes in a day, she only gets 2-3 hours of sleep, and then has to get up to go to work! After filming his xx 10-20 hours, she comes home and washes my dishes." Regarding the recent rumors, Kristal actually comforted him instead. She said she is just concentrated on the acting and does not take other things too serious. Chapman claimed he's just a rough person. To end, Chapman exploded again: "My wife truly likes acting, but you xx TVB just like to make news!"

Yesterday Kristal accepted a telephone interview, and denied she's on bad terms with Priscilla. She said the rumor was something created out of nothing. Regarding her husband blasting at TVB? She said: "He just cares about me! His reaction is because he loves his wife. His heart aches watching me film for long hours. (Are you not valued by TVB?) I don't think so at all. (Chapman scolded at TVB!) You have to have news in this circle. It's fine, as long as its not too hurtful. (Have you been unhappy about the allocated screen time?) I'm happily collaborating with Roger Kwok, Evergreen Mak and Priscilla Wong. The rumor has not affected me at all. Just treat it as promotion!"

Priscilla responded on Weibo as well: "I found out there was such a funny news when a reporter called me. I didn't know how to respond, even if I wanted to. The entertainment circle's entertainment news is nothing more than for entertainment. Those that don't get into the meat, then just laugh it off. However, I do want to say this story wasn't written well. Tin Dai Yeh, (Kristal) isn't that right?"

Kristal Tin Tells Husband Chapman To to Enjoy the Girls As Much As He Can

Yesterday Roger Kwok, Kristal Tin, Priscilla Wong and Evergreen Mak attended the blessing ceremony of TVB new series Tongue Sword Courtroom. Angela Tong just gave birth to her daughter Alyssa on March 10th, Roger praised her: "good girl". When asked if he wants to be Alyssa's god-father? Roger expressed he won't, he said: "Wait until she comes back, we can talk about our baby caring experiences. (Visit her?) Not yet, she's probably really busy now. The most difficult part is taking care of a newborn. (What are you planning to buy for the baby?) I will, but I don't plan to give something too small because babies grow fast." As for the rumors that Priscilla is on bad terms with her good friend Leung Ka Kei, Priscilla denied: "She's still my woman."

Kristal Tin's husband Chapman To has bed scenes with several actresses, in his new film Mr. and Mrs. Cheater 爛滾夫鬥爛滾妻 (translated title). Kristal said: "Congrats to him. He even has one with the goddess Chrissie Chau. I told him perhaps he's a better character since more good things are coming to him now. (Supervise the set?) Why would I? I have my own series to work on. That's the beauty of being an actor though, aside from me, he can freely look at other girls, which is a rare opportunity for him in usual days. (Chrissie Chau just fell out of love, not afraid of rumors?!) Looking back at Chrissie's record, they probably don't really match. Chapman is old now!" It appeared Kristal was actually worried, she later asked reporters to visit Chapman on the set more often and "watch" him for her. In the series, Kristal plays straightforward person who offends people often. Because women are not allowed to be lawyers in the ancient times, Kristal often forces Roger Kwok's role to represents her in the courtroom. She laughed: "My role is pretty bad, similar to me. I think my fast talking was because Chapman influenced me." Kristal joked she has a lot of men liking her in the series too, so she and her husband will each enjoy their own 'peach blossom fate'.

Kristal Tin is Neither Jealous or on Bad Terms with Joey Meng

Last night, Linda Chung, Louis Cheung, Kristal Tin and Leanne Li attended TVB series Brother's Keepers end-of-filming dinner. This is Louis' second series after Inbound Troubles, and in March he'll be participating in new costume series Food for Slaves with the original cast. He plays the 'Eighth Royal Brother' and will be shaving his head.

It was said Linda withdrew from Food for Slaves? She explained she asked TVB to take two months off half a year ago, so she can spend some time with her family and educate herself more. Although Linda didn't go to Raymond Lam's concert, she still sent him a flower basket. When speaking of rumored girlfriend Karena Ng making a high-profile appearance at his concert, it was said their relationship has is now public? Linda said: "I didn't gossip about that. They denied the rumor, but if its real, I will congratulate them. They're a matching pair."

It was rumored Kristal Tin has been jealous that Joey Meng already got a leading role in her first TVB series, but she's been with TVB for 7 years and is still only a second or third string actress. Kristal said she will not respond to imaginary stories. Artists should not be divided into the so-called string actors, the most important is whether the role fits you. Kristal said she and Joey are not on bad terms, they both know what's going on. Also, she does not believe that there's a "TVB Party" trying to boycott the "ATV Party". They are all professional artists, why would they have such mentality? She joked she's actually part of the "To Party" (referring to husband Chapman To).

Kristal Tin collapses from a fortunate life

Recently Kristal Tin and her husband Chapman To have turned benevolent. When with friends, the couple just cannot leave the Buddhism topic and does not seem like they been through a high-spirited or arrogant period. In fact, this all started from the peak of Chapman's career, but then he suddenly collapses. Since then, the two had a clear picture of their needs and their religion taught them to put the past behind them.

Kristal debuted at ATV, and has never thought people would recognize her on the streets. Also, her other half made up top fast and unconsciously became disoriented. She said: "We can just randomly go to London and spend a large sum of money; We can own a car for maybe a few months and if we don't like it, we'll just get a new one. One time, within just one period, we changed cars 4 times! Although we had a lot of money and could buy a lot, but practically, we didn't feel like we had anything. So, actually in the last few years, we didn't live a happy life."

Watching her husband turn into a disheartened hero, he didn't even listen to the words that came from the woman sleeping besides him every night. At one point, Kristal thought of leaving him, but that thought didn't last long. Chapman's career collapse from its peak, Kristal just couldn't bear to give up on their love at this time. She eventually resorted to prayers and seeing Rinpoche, in hope Chapman could smoothly get through this difficult period. Unexpectedly, during this time, Kristal had some gains, she said: "Buddhism allowed me to grow spiritually, [strengthen] my wisdom and increase the religious practices. So, I went on with it and continued to learn! My husband is the same, we grew together though this period. If there wasn't this time period, then I think we would have gone crazy!"

Kristal Tin worried Ruco Chan won't be able to find a wife like her

Yesterday Kristal Tin, Ruco Chan and Natalie Tong attended TVB new series No Good Either Way's promotional event. In the series, Kristal and Ruco play a married couple, Kristal laughed and said her role is kind-hearted and worships her husband. She said she was just being herself and placed her real life into the role. Ruco didn't say she was hard to bear, but Kristal is actually worried he won't be able to find another wife like her. Kristal reveals her husband Chapman To's condition has recovered 90% and he'll be resuming work mid-July. Tomorrow, she and her husband will be heading to the US to celebrate their 7th wedding anniversary and take two week lessons on Buddhist seclusion. Is she worried Chapman might get the '7 year itch'? She joked her husband often gets itchy on different areas, so she'll have to seal off his whole body to be able to stop his itches.

Although Ruco isn't married yet, he still felt very comfortable playing a married couple with Kristal. He joked he's also worried he can't find a wife as good as Kristal. He reveals there were unavoidable bed scenes with Kristal, but those scenes were just limited to sitting and chatting on the bed. Asked if he and rumored girlfriend Eunis Yiu are only chat-limited too? "In acting, my girlfriends are always changing, but in reality, I have a girlfriend too!"
