Tavia Yeung needs to undergo therapy

TV Queen Tavia Yeung recently revealed that she needed to undergo therapy after her recent hospitalisation due to overworking.

Previously, in mid June, it was reported that the actress was hospitalised for a fever and neck pain due to her hectic workload on the set of "Property Protector".

At the Prince Jewellery & Watch Premier Cup handicap horse race that was held in Sha Tin a few days ago, the 33-year-old told the media that the doctors confirmed that she has a C5-C6 herniation/bone spurs after a closer inspection.

"I think the heavy headgear that I have been using for the drama was the reason for the damage in my neck muscles. I think I need to undergo therapy," the actress said.

She added, "I heard swimming is one of the best therapies, but sadly, I don't know how to swim."

When suggested that she ask her boyfriend Him Law, who used to be a lifeguard, to assist her, Tavia heartily expressed, "He only knows how to save people. But I am not planning to swim, so I don't need him to teach me. It's harder to learn swimming when one gets older!"

Tavia Yeung Hospitalized from Enduring Too Much Filming

TVB artists work day and night filming series. A few days ago, Raymond Cho posted a photo of himself bandaged up while filming for new series Property Protector. He said: "Just got off work, but getting back to work 3 hours later. Hang in there." A day later, he wrote again: "Still working, but got an early shift tomorrow morning. Awesome!" His co-star, Tavia Yeung, had been filming so much, she got herself hospitalized. She was running a high fever and had shoulder/neck pain. Because of Tavia's hospitalization, she had no way of attending The Hippocratic Crush II's press conference in Shanghai. She expressed she spent the night at the hospital and is doing fine now.

Tavia's fans were very disappointed that Tavia didn't attend the Shanghai promotion. She wrote on Weibo last night: "Thanks to all my fans. I'm very sorry I wasn't there this time! But I saw all of your beautiful flowers! Thank you all." Tavia's elder sister Lenna Yeung (aka Griselda) responded to Tavia's concerning fans, she disclosed: "Tavia slept in the hospital for 2 days, she came back last night. Relax!"

Tavia made another Weibo post with a picture of her back to work. She responded to the media through SMS: "I just had a fever, shoulder and neck pain. I got my collar bone checked and stayed at the hospital for a night. I'm fine. Thank you all for the concern."

Tavia Yeung Wants to Dig Gold in Mainland

Yesterday on Mother's Day, Kenneth Ma, Tavia Yeung and Gigi Wong were shooting a car accident scene for TVB new series The Hippocratic Crush II in Tseung Kwan O. At the location, there was an overturn mini bus, many police cars and medical personnel, very realistic! Tavia laughed: "This is the biggest scene in the entire series, so all investments went into it. (You did CPR on Kenneth to rescue him?) I was pressing on his chest and still couldn't save him, the ambulance had to take him. (Take 'son in-law' to meet your mother on Mother's Day?) My mom didn't say she wanted to see a son-in-law! I don't have anyone to take to see her either. I celebrated with her early and gave her a new phone. (Did Him Law follow the 'mother-in-law policy'?) None of us get enough sleep filming this series, who has time! Who has the time?" Tavia then changed the subject and said: "I reacted to my company, I want to film Mainland series and make more money! Who wouldn't? I've been discussing my contract with TVB lately, the housing prices are so high now, so I hope for more development!"

Kenneth also made a practical move to be filial to his mother, he said: "Mom complained the prices at the grocery markets were expensive, so I gave her more housekeeping money! (Don't you want to be like Moses Chan, shoot a HK$300,000 per episode Mainland series?) Someone approached me before, but the schedule didn't work out. I'm not going to be greedy because I'm afraid I won't get used to staying in Mainland for a long period of time. Also, I started out at TVB and cannot leave the company completely. I'll be starting a costume drama in October."

Kenneth Ma Too Tall Kung Fu Horse Stance to Accommodate Tavia Yeung

Last year Kenneth Ma swept several awards based on his "Yat Kin Tau" role in the popular TVB drama The Hippocratic Crush. Yesterday at around 5pm, he was shooting an outdoor scene for the sequel with Tavia Yeung and Benjamin Yuen. First it was just Kenneth and the staff studying the script intently, then Tavia arrives and the first thing she did was to change into her costume in the company van. Not long after, Kenneth and Tavia got in position ready to shoot the scene. Tavia was dressed in a black suit jacket, blue jeans and 3-inch heels, but there was still a large gap between her and Kenneth's height. The tall Kenneth was such a gentleman, taking initiative to adjust his height and stood as if he's doing the Kung Fu Horse stance. After NGing several times, the director finally accepted it. Kenneth was standing in the Kung Fu Horse stance the entire time and did not complain at all. Having the 'male god' be so attentive to her, Tavia was clearly happy and couldn't stop smiling.

Then Benjamin joined them on the scene and "got in between" Kenneth and Tavia. He agitatedly grabbed Tavia by the arm and pulled her on the street. However, the three of them kept bursting in laughter and NGed many times. The short scene took 30 minutes to complete.

"Love Rivals" Eliza Sam & Tavia Yeung Exaggerates Pretending to be Friends

TV Queen Tavia Yeung, Eliza Sam, Lawrence Ng, Louisa So and Tracy Chu were at Sham Tseng shooting for TVB new series The Hippocratic Crush II. The girls were at the beach playing actively, but unfortunately didn't have any sexy appearances. Recently it was rumored Tavia's boyfriend Him Law has been treating Heung Heung especially well, but the two "love rivals" have not been affected at all, still chatting and laughing together.

Rising star Heung Heung has been surrounded by rumors nonstop, practically all the male artists like her. She expressed she feels helpless: "I don't feel they treat me especially well. Perhaps because I'm blood type O and attract more mosquitoes. (Rumored with Him?) Nonsense! I do not feel there is such thing at all! Tavia and I have a very good relationship. Earlier when we were out on a business trip together, I especially switch seats to sit with her." Tavia also expressed she and Heung Heung are really good friends. Asked whether Him Him and Heung Heung should keep their distance? She joked: "I will tell Heung Heung to stick to me more often. Why not, rumor me and her!" Then Heung Heung ran over to Tavia and threw her arm around her shoulder and pretended to kiss her. They are indeed "so friend that nobody knows"!

Tavia and the others were filming with child stars, asked whether Tavia plans on having babies of her own? She said: "Leave it to fate! (What happens if there is an accident?) I'm a grown person, how would that happen!"

Lawrence and Louisa were strolling on the beach, but when asked in real life, will they bring their other half to stroll on the beach? Lawrence joked: "Not just my wife, I bought many others here!" Louis also expressed she likes the romantic feeling of strolling the beach with a lover.

Tracy Chu expressed she told her two younger sisters to participate in Miss Hong Kong. When asked of their ages? But unexpectedly Tracy got their ages wrong! She laughed: "Because my role is 2 years older than my actual age, so I'm getting my own age all confused too."

Alex Fong & Tavia Yeung Fight Out a "Brotherly" Relationship

Since The Building Blocks of Life several years ago, Alex Fong and Tavia Yeung collaborate once again in TVB new series A Great Way to Care II. Although they aren't a couple, just a doctor and a police undercover investigating the same case, they still had chemistry right from the start. Tavia regards Alex as the 'TV Drama Soul', she complimented that his performances are steady and has his own style to portray the role, which helps his co-stars easily get into character. She believed if the new generation actors can learn this strength of his, then there will definitely be good prospects.

When speaking of having scenes opposite of this handsome Alex Fong, one can easily get 'electrified' by him? Tavia laughed and said their relationship is like brothers. When they were filming, they mutually showed off their skills and prepare their responses together beforehand. Many times, Alex would test her to see if she could improvise on the spot. She said: "The grudge between Alex and I started from Building Blocks of Life. The moment we met, we started fighting and it can get really intense too. Although Christine Ng is the strongest, when the three of us come together, we could really play hard. We're always breaking the props on the set. He pushes me; I bump him, but all of the bruises are on us, he gets none of it. But it's a joy still."

Although Tavia encountered a playful co-star, she did not hesitate to say that Alex does have his attentive side too. She disclosed during filming, she had an unhappy incident happen to her and as a good friend, he went to comfort her. Even though he just said a few words, but it's the thought that counts. Tavia said: "At the time, my emotions weren't that bad. When I got to work, I still played with Alex. I thought the things the aren't true, I shouldn't let them bother me. I really have to let it go. My colleagues won't know that much, they could only support me spiritually and cannot help me resolve the issues, but now it's already the past. Don't have to pay too much attention to it and not like it's a big deal."

Alex praised Tavia back, expressing her acting is great otherwise she couldn't have become TV Queen. The playful him did not forget to tease Tavia: "Now you have more life experiences, in both your acting and love life. If not, then don't take the TV Queen title! Actually dating is a part of life, next time just don't lean towards that area again when you vomit! But, I do have to compliment that you have good ethics of an artist. You get injured or sprain your ankle, but you still limp back to work!" This good friend of Tavia's teases her first and then compliments her, Tavia didn't know whether she should be laughing or crying.

Tavia Yeung's Love Won't Shift to 'Best Deal' Kenneth Ma

TVB new series The Hippocratic Crush II (On Call 2) held its blessing ceremony at TVB City yesterday. The cast including Lawrence Ng, Kenneth Ma, Tavia Yeung, Him Law, Tracy Chu, Louisa So, Jerry Koo, Benjamin Yuen, Mandy Wong and etc. attended. Tavia continues her fate with the recent hottest 'suen poon' (best deal), Kenneth Ma, in the sequel as a married couple.

Although Kenneth has been surrounded by rumors lately, it will probably be hard to get any rumors with Tavia since she already has her actual boyfriend Him Law 'supervising' on the set. Since Him is in the same series, will there not be any rumors with Kenneth? Tavia said: "Huh? Who? Then I'll have less opportunity for promotions? Kenneth is a suen poon, that's nothing strange, he's basically a rich single man. In the series, Kenneth and I are married, not even a strong storm can split us up. (Who is better, Him or Kenneth?) Doesn't matter, they are both handsome guys, they both have a lot in common. (Is Him afraid you'll have rumors with Kenneth?) I don't know, you all go ask Him Law. (You don't have enough concentration?) I've been in this industry for a long time, I am very stabled and concentrated. (Him has several female companions in the series?) Well I'm not sure, I didn't read up on how his romantic storyline develops."

Lawrence and Tracy are a couple in this series, but there are no kiss scenes yet. Lawrence praised Tracy's performance: "She performs well, better than when I was a newcomer. She's not nervous and prepares herself well." It's been 8 years since Lawrence been in a TVB series, he said the feeling is positive and for now, he's only shooting 1 or 2 scenes per day. It's very comfortable and he believes he'll shoot one series a year.

Tavia Yeung Makes Him Law Wait to Have Children

Yesterday Tavia Yeung and Roger Kwok led 30 TVB Artistes Training class students to record for Lunar New Year show TVB Golden Viva Spectacular. When asked about spending Valentine's Day with rumored boyfriend Him Law, Tavia did not respond directly: "To me, it is no different, every day is Valentine's Day. Just as long as I spend the holiday with my mom and family, then I don't split them up by friends or relatives. I love spending the holidays with a large group of friends." When asked if she plans on going for BBQ again? Tavia laughed: "Rarely do people go BBQ on Valentine's Day. That's too 'hot air', I still have to out for stage performances and take care of my voice. (Taking care of voice together in a two-person world?) Doesn't matter, I can spend a two-person world with my mom too." When speaking of Him Law mentioning he wants to have a baby sooner? Tavia changed the subject: "Welcome him over to Pay a New Year Call! ('Bai Lin')" Roger interrupted: "Accidents happen easily during Bai Lin!" Tavia shouted: "Touch wood!" She frankly expressed she likes children, but seeing so many parents stressed over 'snatching' for milk powder, its necessary for her to keep a 'lookout' first before considering to have children. Will Him Him have a long wait then? Tavia laughed: "Wait!"

Roger joked he already forgot about Valentine's Day. He currently sees his children as his lovers. When asked if his wife (Cindy Au) turned into a worker? Roger said: "My wife is a family member. Recently, I took her for dinner up at The Peak, to revisit our first Valentine's Day together. The first time I helped her get up top and we had Hainan chicken rice, but unfortunately she felt full at the time. After we had our son, we could only go to The Peak in the broad daylight and close our eyes to create the night sky." He expressed his wife didn't complained that they lost the romantic feeling.

Roger and Tavia, the two TV King and Queen, have never collaborated in a series before. Tavia expressed she's longing to play father and daughter with Roger! Roger wasn't upset and laughed: "Actually, over 10 years ago we had a scene together in At the Threshold of an Era. That time, Tavia was the receptionist and once I came out of the elevator, she attracted me by her 'Ahh!'. At the time, I already supported her to become a TV Queen one day!"

When speaking of the "Jan Ying this person acts alone" scene in Inbound Troubles suspected to be mocking politician Leung Chun Ying, Roger said: "When we were shooting this series, he wasn't the Chief Executive yet. I believe it was just a coincidence, otherwise the script can tell the future!"

Tavia Yeung No Fear Limelight Stolen by Samantha Ko's Scene

Yesterday Tavia Yeung, Sammy Leung, Sharon Chan, Samantha Ko and the rest of the cast of TVB series Friendly Fire attended the promotional event. At the promotion, the cast played "The Best Sleeping Look" game. Sammy suddenly did a handstand and revealed his big belly, then he forgot Sharon's name and got teased by the MC Jack Wu: "You're not just depressed! You have dementia too!" Sammy was having so much fun and played hard, he later gave Michael a big kiss too.

Samantha Ko (Ko Ling) rape scene will be broadcasting on Wednesday, when the female lead, Tavia Yeung, was asked if she stole her limelight? Tavia generously said: "It's her debut scene, it's good there is noise from the public." Tavia and Michael's two minute scene was also a big hit, Tavia laughed and said that night, she tricked her mother out to dinner and prevented the mother-daughter from watching an embarrassing scene together.

Ko Ling guaranteed her scene won't be one second and said many colleagues are extremely curious on how the scene will play out. As for when she was filming the scene, she said only the necessary staff remained in the studio. She just revealed her back, everything in the front of her body was covered, even her belly button couldn't be seen. Also, the costume staff took great care of her and covered her tightly before the cameras rolled.

Michael Tse Teases Tavia Yeung: Marry "Mr. Law"

Fresh out of the oven TV Queen Tavia Yeung attended TVB new series Friendly Fire promotional event along with the other cast Michael Tse, Sharon Chan, Sammy Leung and Alice Chan. The cast all congratulated her and gave her kisses. However, Michael pulled a prank on her while he knelt down with flowers to propose to her and said: "Marry him!" This frightened Tavia as she asked: "Who?" Michael replied: "Your Mr. Right! He's very 'Him' (modest)." Michael was referring to Him Law. During the games, Michael gave a giant empty check to Tavia, but later signed the check "Mr. Law". Tavia was so embarrassed she went and attacked Michael.

The night after the TVB awards ended, Tavia celebrated outside TVB City with all her fans. When she got a giant congratulations card, she thanked fans for their suport and was so touched she cried. She promised fans she will be like Wayne Lai one day and get the award 3 times. It was reported Tavia plans to repay TVB by signing another 5 year contract? She said: "I already have a contract, and haven't thought of signing another one. I'm currently focused on my work and hope people will offer me more work so I can make more money."

Tavia said she hasn't celebrated with rumored boyfriend Him Law yet, but will probably do so with a large group of friends later. Her greatest wish now is to go on vacation with her mother. When asked why she didn't announce her relationship or confess her love at the award ceremony? She said: "Two different things! Still have lots of time, no need to rush. Take it slowly."

Tavia Yeung Gets Rushed to Marry Him Law: "I Have a Headache"

Tavia Yeung was crowned TV Queen for the first time at Astro's AOD My Favourite Awards 2012 in Malaysia last night. She was also one of the biggest winners with the most awards of the night along with Kenneth Ma. On stage, she teared up emotionally and asked her 13th TVB Artistes Training Class classmate Raymond Lam to go on stage and share the happiness with her, but Raymond rushed her and Him Law to get marry soon.

Tavia: "I give you Him Law"

Yesterday the stars came back to HK for a celebration. Tavia generously shared the award and took pictures with Him. When speaking of the most touching money, Tavia started getting teary eyes again. Asked why she didn't thank Him when she accepted her award? She said: "Because there's nothing to thank. I couldn't think of what I could thank him for. I thanked all my colleagues from THC, it's rare that every one of us had that much chemistry." During Him's interview, he said: "I got something most important to me in life!" Tavia was asked if Him was referring to her? She laughed: "I don't know! I'm not a thing, I'm human! You should ask him what he has gained! Perhaps he had an unforgettable moment when shooting this series (THC). (He thanked you on stage, were you touched?) He said a lot of other names! (Everyone rushed you two to get married?) I get a headache just hearing it! Nowadays, people's styles are like that. Once there are rumors, there's a huge surge. (Save the announcement of the relationship until you get the award in HK?) Nope, leave it to fate! I won't do any special planning, get award and make money first." When speaking of artists "giving presents" to fans so they can vote for them? Tavia joked: "I'll give you guys Him Law! (Take his nude photos out?) No! We don't have any of that!"

"Best Supporting Actor" Him Law frankly expressed his confidence has increased and he had a lot of people to thank when he got on stage, but he didn't know why the audience started shouting Tavia Yeung's name. He said: "I'm a guy, so I can be more generous. Tavia helped me a lot in The Hippocratic Crush. (People were telling you two get married.) They're just joking. (Tavia didn't thank you on stage?) I really didn't help her in any way, she deserved the TV Queen award." When asked why he didn't declare his love for Tavia when he got the award? He said: "I don't know what to say. (When you become TV King, propose to her?) Crazy! There is no such thing. Marriage, leave it to fate. Every guy wants a good girl (Is Tavia a marriage partner?) She's a good girl, a marriage partner to many guys, but I don't know if I have that kind of good fortune." Him expressed when he was shooting THC, he encountered the lowest period in his life. When asked if it was the Theresa Fu incident? He said: "Don't mention it."

Fresh out of the oven TV King, Kenneth Ma, clarified the rumors of him and ex-girlfriend Nancy Wu getting back together. He said they are just good friends and Nancy has a new boyfriend. The rumor is unfair to Nancy, she's a good girl. About his TV King victory, Kenneth said: "I'm very happy, never thought I would bring home so many awards from Malaysia. It is truly a pleasant surprise, but this didn't increase my confidence to get the TVB Award because there is a new system this year. If TVB had the old system, I have more confidence. This year, anything could happen, everyone has a chance." Will he put his new label 'HK Golden House Man God' into good use when trying to increase his votes? "I don't have an account there, or perhaps I'll tell fans to leave messages." Last night, the 'crying threesome' Koo Ming Wa, Mandy Wong and Oscar Leung [and Him Law] won their first acting awards and cried on stage. Wayne Lai shared his experience with them, he said his first award was given to him by Astro as well, but he waited a long time before getting his second one!

Raymond Lam: "I wasn't joking"

Raymond rushed Tavia and Him into marriage, but he later said frankly: "I'm not playing, I am serious! They are so sweet. It's strange, they used to keep their distance, but don't know why they were like that this time." It was not only rumored Raymond would get JSG's Most Popular Male Singer this year, but earlier he broke the tradition and still got an award at the JSG Selections Round 3 despite his absence. Raymond said: "I don't know why, each year whenever there are any changes, it's because of me! But has anyone ever thought, I have never won the TV King award?"

Myolie Wu: "Don't Be Like Us"

As for Myolie Wu, she said the most touching moment was during Tavia and Him's part. She said: "So sweet, unfortunately nobody had ever said such thing to me." Myolie felt emotional seeing them so sweet, but when asked if Tavia and Him's relationship reminded her relationship with Bosco Wong? Myolie said: "I wish them the best, don't end up like us!"

Kate Tsui was defeated by Tavia at the Astro awards, did she suffer emotional impact? Kate said: "I hope my next award won't come next year. This definitely didn't lower my confidence. The award winners were all well-deserved. THC had such strong reaction from the audience, my fans were a little disappointed because many fans made a special trip to Malaysia to support me." How will you increase your votes? Kate joked: "Kenneth Ma gave out pictures, I will have to betray Raymond Lam and hide some of his personal items, I need to win by a surprise move."

'Kwan Yee Gor' Oscar Leung and 'Kwan Yee So' Mandy Wong won the 'Most Improved Actor and Actress' awards. Oscar said 'Kwan Yee Gor' has left a deep impression on audience, and brought him a lot more job opportunities. He laughed: "Lately when I went to get my car fix at the auto shop, the mechanic said to me, 'Mr. Kwan, your car is ready'." Oscar embraced Mandy at the moment he won the award, he laughed: "I have never hugged Mandy like that before."

Tavia Yeung Felt Tense About Her Role, Feels 10 Years Older

In TVB anniversary series Silver Spoons Sterling Shackles, Tavia Yeung plays Damian Lau's 4th wife. Her role has great emotional ups and downs, but apparently the audience and Netizens just have their eyes on her scenes with Damian, such as the 'lip-biting' kiss. Netizens also criticized that her 'Pinocchio nose' put pressure on Damian. Although Damian already helped her explained, Netizens still wouldn't let Tavia go.

Tavia frankly expressed she and Damian discussed the 'lip-biting' kiss and bed scenes. She said: "In the series, I love and hate him. There are many subtle ways in this world to pull a relationship closer. The lip-biting kiss was to show how passionate and frustrated they were, but perhaps if the scene wasn't done by Damian and I, the reaction won't be so big. (You felt great pressure co-starring Damian?) Of course there was pressure, actually with anyone there is pressure. Damian also has high expectations, he is very into each and every one of the characters in the series. He hoped each of the female characters had different personalities, which got me nervous too. We developed together, the other actresses did well on their roles too. Comparing my character to myself, I actually turned younger. My role feels like I was 10 years older than my actual age and I had to relieve myself from this pressure."

Tavia said her role was difficult to portray because her emotions goes up and down. As for Netizens criticizing her looks, Tavia said: "I don't care at all. They can say whatever they want. They can say I'm skinny, boney, whatever! I don't mind, but I do think my costume came out looking pretty good. We all have different opinions. It wouldn't make sense if I have thinner shoulders and then say I could poke others with it, or if I have a sharper chin, would my chin stab someone?! There are many things I cannot control."

Also, Elena Kong had a sexy seducing Damian scene, which was described as 'heavy aftertaste' by Netizens. Tavia said: "It's not like it won't be 'heavy aftertaste' if they got a younger actress to do the scene. If a younger actress did it, perhaps people would say she doesn't have enough experience and lacked the appropriate expressions."

Tavia Yeung & Kate Tsui Competing on Fashion Before TV Queen

The two TV Queen hot favorites Kate Tsui and Tavia Yeung attended an event together. In terms of the jewelry and dress, Kate's low-cut dress accompanied with nearly HK$5 million worth of jewelry defeated Tavia. Last night, Tavia was absent from the TVB Anniversary Gala show due to a leg injury. Yesterday she appeared at the event in high-heels and expressed TVB wanted her to rest more, so she was at home watching the anniversary show instead, which included the part where Moses Chan pretended to be her in Silver Spoon Sterling Shackles. She said: "That part was so funny. I saw Kate's part too. (Are you afraid your absence from the anniversary show may affect your chances for the TV Queen award?) Not worried, I will be actively trying to pull in votes." Tavia expressed she will definitely be attending the Anniversary Awards: "If there is an award to get, I'll crawl on stage if I have to!" She stressed there is no viscious competition between her and Kate. There is no awkwardness for them being at the same event.

Also part of the nominations, Charmaine She attended a separate event yesterday and said she watched the anniversary show too. She reveals she'll be back to shoot a TVB series next year. When asked if she has confidence to defeat Kate and Tavia, and get the TV Queen award again? Charmaine expressed: "Having confidence and winning the award are different things. They are both pretty good." When asked if she supports CTI getting a free-to-air license? Charmaine said: "Leave that to the government. (TVB published ads saying they need a stable environment?) This is business between two large companies. We shouldn't get involved, but as the audience, it's good to have healthy competition. But must have quality."

Aimee Chan was one of the TV Queen nominees, yesterday she expressed she is happy with whatever nomination she gets. When asked if she supports Tavia or Kate? She said: "Can I not choose? Wait until then! (Choose Moses Chan for TV King?) I like him too, but I really like Wayne Lai. (Not afraid Moses will be jealous?) I didn't say I won't vote for him."

Bad Luck Artists: Tracy Ip, Tavia Yeung & Sammy Sum Leg Injuries

TVB artists Tavia Yeung, Tracy Ip and Sammy Sum are sure having bad luck! They all joined the 'injured group'. In June, Tracy fractured her right leg bone and a few nights ago, she injured her tail bone from an accidental fall at home. Yesterday she posted a picture of her X-ray on Weibo and shared her experience with the media over the phone: "I was walking into my room to answer a phone call, then I accidentally tripped and fell to the ground. My pat pat (butt) went straight to the floor. At the time, I heard something crack. I was so frightened I started getting cold sweat!"

She then crawled to her telephone and called her family for help. When she got to the hospital, the doctor said she fractured her tailbone. "The doctor said I was lucky that not all the pressure was placed on those bones, otherwise it would affect my fertility. However, I will have to rest for a month and have to be on bed rest for a few days." When asked if rumored boyfriend Matthew Ko called to comfort her? She said: "He already did, told me to be careful. (Will he visit you?) No! After I discharged from the hospital, I went straight home!"

Meanwhile, Tavia Yeung attended a shoe event and had a swollen foot. Her foot was so swollen it looked like 'pig trotters', but she still wore 2-inch heels. She revealed she injured herself while shooting a jumping off a high place scene for A Great Way to Care II earlier. She said: "I sprained my ankle before, but then I just kept on filming. I went to see the doctor and found out there is a fracture." As for the TV Queen battle, she frankly expressed she supports herself. When asked if she would support rumored boyfriend Him Law? She said: "I'm not sure if he [supports me], if so I will vote for him!" When speaking of Elaine Ng's "car sex" rumor, as someone who had personal experience, Tavia said: "Innocence is innocence. Don't try to hurt artists. (You were hurt earlier?) I was totally angry!"

Also, Sammy Sum revealed on Weibo he triggered old injuries to come back during dance rehearsal for the TVB Anniversary Gala performance. However, he'll still be shooting a car crash scene as scheduled. He said over the phone "I injured the ligament on my left foot. I injured it before when I was skiing, and I'll request to reduce dangerous action scenes."

Cheung Wing Hong Threatens Tavia Yeung Grabbing Her Neck (*just filming)

Recently, Tavia Yeung and Cheung Wing Hong (aka "Fan Kan" from Three Kingdoms RPG)were shooting in Mongkok for TVB new series A Great Way To Care II. The scene was about Tavia, disguised as a dancer and Cheung as the gangster, "talking business" on the streets. Cheung eventually grabs Tavia by the neck and pushes her into the glass. The the two engage in an intense dispute and when the police walked by, the two pretended to be friends.

This is the first time Tavia played a dancer, her costume looked exactly like a real one. She expressed she had to do some homework and learn how to be 'bad' for this role. She said: "Because I play a dancer, so I have to speak roughly. Sometimes I watch how the party girls act. The worse is, I personally don't smoke, so the most difficult part of this role is that I'm always smoking!" She reveals although she's disguised as a dancer, she is actually an undercover for the police. In the series, she has a relationship with Ben Wong. Her other co-star, Alex Fong, is always pulling pranks on people, asked if Tavia has been his target? She laughed: "I collaborated with Alex several times, we have chemistry. Uncle Alex talks slower now, he's toned it down now and hasn't played any pranks on us."

Cheung Wing Hong and Tavia have also collaborated several times. Also, Tavia is known to be a straightforward tomboy, so shooting the action scenes went well. He said: "Some scenes Tavia and I get into a fight, and what I fear most is doing action scenes with girls, but Tavia is such a tomboy, it's so much easier to shoot with her. Everything went smoothly."

Damien Lau supports Kenneth Ma & Tavia Yeung to get the Awards

The TVB Anniversary Awards battle is getting more and more heated. This year the audience gets to vote for the TV King and Queen, the head of TVB's Variety Shows department (Yu Wing Shan) reveals the details for the public voting will conclude within the next two weeks. Currently, there are no problems with the technology. She explained they must resolve the technical problems to prevent online hackers from coming in again. She also revealed not all the awards will be up for public voting. Audience my get a few days to cast their votes, instead of opening up the polls that evening. The details regarding this matter is still in discussion.

This year's hot favorite for TV Queen, Tavia Yeung, was rumored that she's using 'cheap' tactics to crackdown her competitor Kate Tsui. She asked her boyfriend Him Law to sign a TVB contract in exchange for the award. Yesterday the cast of anniversary series Silver Spoon, Sterling Shackles including Tavia, Damien Lau, Kenneth Ma, Ron Ng, Rebecca Zhu, Sire Ma, JJ Jia and Elena Kong attended the promotional event. Damien is also seen as a favorite for the TV King award, he laughed: "I've been a favorite for many years! But leave it for the younger generation. At this age, awards isn't as important to me. I support Kenneth Ma and Tavia this year. (Michelle Yim is a hot favorite too.) She's not in my series, I don't care about her."

Yesterday at the promotion, Damien's five 'wives' gave him a kiss and the event organizers prepared a cake to celebrate his 63rd birthday. After the ladies gave Damien kisses, there were lipstick marks left on his cheeks.

Recently a magazine reported Tavia wanted to defeat her strongest TV Queen competitor, Kate Tsui, so rumored boyfriend Him Law signed a 'lifelong' contract with TVB in exchange for the award. In regards to this, Tavia said: "I think that is really funny. I've been in the industry for so long, I signed a 'lifelong' contract long ago, then how come TVB hasn't given me the award? The report is purely fabricated, the media said I used 'cheap tactics to kill Kate', but I'm good buddies with Kate, and I don't want fabricated news to affect our relationship." When asked if she thinks Kate is her greatest competitor? Tavia said she's not anxious for the award. Did she talk to Him about a 'lifelong' contract with TVB? "Nothing to talk about, I didn't ask if its true or not. I don't care about that, just as long as TVB helps us earn more money. (Do you support Him signing a TVB contact?) I 'sold' myself already, but everyone has the right to choose, just as long as he's happy."

TV Queen Battle: Tavia Yeung's "Bite" Defeats Kate Tsui

Last Friday (10/5), the TVB 45th Anniversary Lighting Ceremony was held. Most of the FaDans and Siu Sangs appeared to promote for the currently airing series The Last Steep Ascent, Highs and Lows and Come Home Love as well as the upcoming two anniversary series Silver Spoon, Sterling Shackles (SSSS) and The Confidant. The lead actors from these series including Wayne Lai, Michelle Yim, Damien Lau and Tavia Yeung were arranged to stand in the front row. It was rumored, TVB has already decided internally to give the TV King award to Raymond Lam this year. The TV Queen race appears to be a battle between Tavia and Kate Tsui. At the ceremony, a preview of SSSS was shown, where Tavia (33 y/o), who plays the '4th Wife', had an intense lip-biting kiss scene with 63 y/o Damien Lau whose old enough to be her father!

Charmaine Sheh's gone and Myolie Wu got the award last year, it was said this year's TV Queen award will definitely land in Tavia's hands and that's why her series SSSS is scheduled to be an anniversary series. Basically the '4th Wife' role in SSSS was tailored for Tavia, and this series is just another version of those palace dramas that audience like to watch. In order to demonstrate Tavia's improvements on acting, TVB paired her up with veteran Damien Lau to help bring her into character.

However Tavia's 'car incident' with Him Law earlier damaged her image, therefore the result may change. According to an internal TVB employee, [he/she] reveals: "Although Miss Lok (Virgina) believes Tavia was drunk, but she and Him made the incident look so bad, so Virgina scolded her. Coincidentally Highs and Lows started airing around that time, many people praised Kate Tsui's good performance and her drug queen role has really made a breakthrough. So, [TVB] is considering to let Raymond Lam and Kate get the TV King and Queen awards together. However, we still have to wait for SSSS to come out first and see how audience react before a decision can be made."

Tavia Yeung trusts him the most, Him Law Meets the Parents

Last year after Him Law broke off with Theresa Fu, it was already rumored that he often served as Tavia Yeung's driver and strongly pursued her while shooting The Hippocratic Crush. Then the two were spotted BBQing together and on dates, although their relationship surfaced, they refused to make it public. A few days ago, Tavia was spotted sleeping on Him's thigh while he was driving her home. Even when reporters were madly taking pictures, Tavia was still unwilling to lift her head up or show her face. Because the incident damages their image, the next day, Tavia and Him quickly held a press conference in Tseung Kwan O to explain.

[Article goes on recapping the press conference and Tavia's explanation...]

It appeared Tavia had tears forming in her eye, she admitted she did cried earlier that day, but she knew crying won't solve anything. This has been her most negative news since her debut. She didn't want her family and friends to worry about her, so she decided to come forward. She said: "Artists are humans too. I understand the basic principle, I won't do something that I know is unlawful!"

Him and Tavia's relationship officially surfaces after their one statement, "still getting to know each other" at the press conference. However, close friends know they have long gone beyond the 'getting to know each other' stage. Him was asked what he likes about Tavia? He said: "She is very family-oriented and responsible. She is persistent towards her work." Him said he feels very comfortable with Tavia, and they just naturally got together. Although Tavia is 5 years older, to Him, the 'sister-brother relationship' is not an issue at all. "Love is not about the age gap, most important is being able to communicate and having common future goals and direction."

When speaking of his break up with Theresa Fu and then dating Tavia, both relationships had been on the entertainment new headlines, does he believe he has to reflect on his actions? "Dating is personal. I'm a normal person and never thought it would get so much media attention and reaction. I also cannot just explain it with one or two words...but I believe, as a public figure, must watch your actions and what you say."

Him has been photographed several times driving Tavia around, it was rumored he spends the night at her house too. He said: "I do frequently go over to her house to have dinner and soup. I met her mother before, but we aren't cohabiting." As for Tavia, she quickly denied: "The truth is, I'm cohabiting with my mom."

Earlier it was rumored, several months ago, the couple were already talking about marriage, but Tavia said: "No, if there is an opportunity we'll let you all know!" Him also denied, but he once said he is a 'big man', when he does get marry in the future, he won't allow his girlfriend to work. Also, it would be best to live with his parents. If it really doesn't work out like that, he has to at least live nearby, convenient for him to look after his parents.
_______

Also, Chris Lai and Tavia's elder sister Griselda Yeung attended TVB sitcom Come Home Love Mid-Autumn Festival event yesterday. In regards to ex-rumored girlfriend Tavia's 'car sex' incident with Him Law, Chris deeply believed they won't act that way. He said: "I've known Tavia for many years, she never had good alcohol tolerance. Once she gets drunk, she sleeps and goes unconscious. In the past, I drove her home before too (Did Tavia sleep on your thigh too?) No. She said she trust Him Law the most, of course she'll lay one someone she trusts the most, and not some taxi driver."

Griselda supported her sister to take legal action on any news that are not true. She said: "I believe in Tavia's personality. At most, she'll just sleep on someone's thigh, but definitely won't do what the news said. That is not what a normal person does anyway. I trust my family and that won't be wrong."

TVB & Tavia Yeung Sends Demand Letter to 'Apple Daily' for an Apology

Tavia Yeung and Him Law already had their press conference to explain the 'car sex' incident. Yesterday their companies, TVB and Filmko, clearly stated they will be taking legal action against the related parties to safeguard their artists and get justice back for them. Yesterday, TVB Deputy Director of Foreign Affairs (Tsang Sing Ming) expressed the incident had tremendous impact both Tavia and Him's image and reputation. Their managements are following closely with the case, TVB has already sent a demand letter to Apple Daily and Sharp Daily demanding an apology to TVB and the artists. As for Tavia, she had decided to personally hire a lawyer and take legal action against Apple Daily.

It was said TVB sent someone out to the newspaper offices to look at the pictures, but Mr. Tsang expressed there is no such thing. However, he does admit someone did indeed call TVB executive Virgina Lok, this time the decision to send out the demand letter was made by TVB in order to safeguard the artist (Tavia) and to get the truth out of the report. When asked if TVB plans to shut out Apple Daily and Sharp Daily reporters from taking part in any of TVB events? Mr. Tsang expressed they will have to see how Apple Daily/Sharp Daily respond first before taking any further action.

Also, asked if TVB demanded Apple Daily to hand over the raw photos? Mr. Tsang said: "We don't have demands, just asking for an apology. (Is there a deadline to when they have to apologize?) Sometimes, but it's not convenient for me to talk about it. We want a response soon. (What type of apology did TVB request?) Let's see how they react first. The contents of the lawyer letter, I cannot say."

The other night, Tavia posted on Weibo. She said today's injuries strengthens her life. For all the bad things that happened is the past, she will continue to work hard on her jobs and tomorrow is a new day. The other victim, Him Law, expressed: "My company, Filmko, has already passed the case on to the lawyer. This incident hurt Tavia more than me. Reputation is very important to a woman, so I hope the media can publicly apologize to her (Tavia) and give us our justice." Filmko expressed they hope the media will make a public apology to Tavia and Him, otherwise further legal action will be taken.

Tavia Yeung & Him Law's press conference clarifies the incident & relationship

Today, Tavia Yeung and Him Law held a press conference, accompanied by Virgina Lok, to explain the incident from a few nights ago. Reporters spotted Tavia hiding herself with her face in between Him's legs, while he was driving her home. It was suspected they had 'car sex' as well since Tavia appeared to have some drool on the corner of her lip after she got up from laying on Him's legs/thighs.

Tavia: "That day, we had the 13th TVB Artistes Training Class reunion. Basically this is held each year, we all have dinner and drink. I rarely go out to gatherings or go out to social. My alcohol tolerance isn't high either, that night I had such a good time, I drank a lot. Prior to going to the reunion, I already told Him Law, 'Why don't you come pick me up, I definitely won't be able to drive after drinking and hope to have someone I trust take me home.' My classmates and I all drank a lot, we were pretty drunk. When we were leaving, he [Him] already told me there is paparazzi outside. I personally don't like too much attention, I don't want people to follow me when I go out. There was Meini Cheung and two other classmates that went in the taxi with me. We went to Meini's house and then I got in his car later. I already started vomiting in the car, and don't remember what happened. When I got off the taxi, I started vomiting all over the floor, until Him came to pick me up, I already don't remember what happened. As an artist, actually nobody wants to let others see them drunk. To a person I trust, that moment when I slept on his thigh, there definitely are no doubts and is not what the media tried to twist. What I must mention is, why did you all see those pictures, because when we got to the entrance gate of my house, he warned me, 'Hey, Ah Yi, hurry wake up, there's dogs [paparazzi].' An artist facing such a sensitive moment, the first reaction I had was to cover my face with my hat. But when I got up, I felt like throwing up, so I took the bowl of noodles next to him (perhaps he was waiting for me too long and didn't have anything to eat), once I got the bowl, I started throwing up. After throwing up, I had some wet spots on the corner of my lips and this is how the news report came up. Actually I want to clarify, absolutely nothing like what the report said happened in the car (referring to the 'car sex'). Of course, there were some things in between that I don't remember, so he will have to tell you all."

Reporter: So are you and Him publicly announcing the relationship now?

Tavia: We are currently in the direction of getting to know each other and letting nature take its course.

Reporter: Then do you think there is a chance?

Him: I think relationships, leave it to fate. In the future, Tavia and I will positively develop the relationship, but currently we are indeed in the process of getting to know each other. (Tavia: Yes)

Reporter: Are you two still cohabiting?

Tavia: Cohabiting? The truth is I'm cohabiting with my mother, it had been like that all along. I think the word cohabiting could mean, if spotted going in/out together, then it could be called cohabiting; if spotted in the car together, then it could be called cohabiting too. I think the first priority is work. Just like what we just said, we are still in the stage of getting to know each other, and in the future if we develop further, then we'll let you all know.

Reporter: But when you got in the car, you didn't even put on your seat belt?

Him: Actually I was wrong here too. I shouldn't have let her lay on me for so long...I should perhaps...but.. (*both starts laughing) (Tavia: Not laying on you, no.) Well you all know what I mean...

Tavia: Because when I got in the car, when a person is drunk and kinda just collapsed, what can't happen? But in an environment of trust, there are no doubts.

Reporter: Well in the report, it said there was some 'foreign matter' seen?

Tavia: Then did you see it?

Reporter: I didn't.

Tavia: Let's take it out and see it then.

Reporter: Any embarrassment?

Tavia: No, I didn't do it, there is nothing to be embarrassed about. Actually, I already discussed with my lawyer today and I reserve the right to take legal action because I think this damages my reputation. To some extent the published words is defamation. I will have my lawyer follow-up with this incident.

----------------

[*** Eileen Cha did a separate interview with Him and Tavia on Scoop. There may be some overlap with the press conference. ***]

Eileen: Him, if she wasn't Tavia and perhaps Meini, would you have let her sleep on your thigh too?

Him: As I have a very good relationship with Tavia, of course I will take care of her. If it was Meini, I would perhaps have some other friends take her home.

Eileen: Then what happened? Tavia woke up, and reporters took pictures?

Him: Actually I was already waiting for her at Meini's house. I saw her throwing up, so of course I went to look after her. I helped her into the car. Well actually I set 2-3 hours aside ahead of time (Eileen: very attentive), because I knew she would drink a lot and have a good time.

Eileen: How come you didn't tell her not to drink then?

Him: If she would listen.

Tavia: No, I would only drink with friends I trust. Even if I'm laying on his thigh, I know he's someone I trust. If I'm sitting in a taxi, would I lay on the driver's thigh? Then the news wouldn't be like this.

Eileen: Did you continue to take care of her when she got home?

Him: Well Tavia's mom was there. I saw that she was safe, then I just took the taxi home.

Eileen: 40 minutes in the car, what were you two doing, why did it take so long?

Him: I don't know how long it takes, but it takes time to drive back to Tavia's house. I was driving slowly because she's drunk, I was afraid she would throw up and not feel well. I don't mind if she throws up on me, I can wash it off, I'm more concerned of her feeling.

Eileen: Tavia, do you really trust Him, and always ask him to drive you?

Tavia: I usually drive myself around. Of course, I trust him. When your drunk, you want to get in a car that you trust.

Eileen: Tavia has been very nervous, and we tell her, if she didn't do anything, there is nothing to be nervous about. So, why are you still facing this so seriously?

Tavia: Eileen, I'm sure you know me well. I watch myself very closely, especially my career. After this incident, I don't think I can just relax and say I didn't do it and that's it. I want to formally clarify that we did not do anything like what the report said. It provides an explanation for myself and my family, that nothing like that happened. I've been worried, even though I knew such news would come out because it will definitely damage my image and affect us both. I'm also worried, my family would be affected emotionally. For other things that I didn't do, I'm not worried that people will criticize.

Eileen: But you rarely have these types of news.

Tavia: Zero. So, that's why I think I absolutely have to clarify this incident. For myself, for Him, for my family, for everyone who cares about me, I think I have to clarify my personal integrity because as a public figure, everyone is watching you and what you do. If our behavior is like this, I think I would be ashamed to be acting or to send any positive messages to the public. I have a lot of younger fans, so I feel I must clarify this incident.

Eileen: What is your relationship now?

Tavia: We are currently getting to know each other. He is a person who takes good care of me. There are a lot of things we can't predict. What I think is most important now is to clarify the incident. As to our future development, it depends on what path we take. I hope everyone just don't judge our character just based on this incident and we did something bad.

Eileen: What about you Him? Tavia just described you, how about you?

Him: Of course, Tavia is a good girl. Just like she said, sometimes she can get really playful, but that's fine. I can look after her and protect her. For the future, we will develop the relationship in a positive way.

----------

Also, after the report came out Tavia posted on Weibo, she said: "As public figures, we always reflect on our personal integrity and actions, but as the media, do you all have personal integrity? An article written with a pen can be so remarkable, is it because the Hong Kong media has already reached the end? For what reason do you all not report the truth, but instead twist the truth? .....where is your conscience....."

After the press conference, Him said on Weibo: "Just completed the press conference, set the record straight! I hope friends that support me will understand the truth through my interview with Eileen Cha on Scoop. I know sometimes what we see from our eyes is not the truth. I definitely do what was said in the report."
