Mark Chao and Gao Yuan Yuan dating?

Mark Chao and Gao Yuan Yuan were rumoured to be dating after meeting on the set of the movie Search last year. However, the pair had denied the speculation and claimed that they were merely friends. Mark and Yuan Yuan had spent a great amount of time together and shared quite a number of intimate scenes while filming the movie last year.

Two weeks ago, Yuan Yuan was seen flying to Nanjing to meet Mark, who was filming a movie there. The pair was photographed wearing matching sportswear in a hotel by the paparazzi. They were said to have stayed in the hotel for five consecutive days.

When asked by reporters, Mark's manager expressed that they will not interfere with their artist's personal life. However, he added that the pair had enjoyed the filming together and that if they are in a relationship, the company will give them their blessings.

The pair is said to have kept their relationship a secret due to their cultural and age difference (Yuan Yuan is five years older than Mark). They were also rumoured to have started the affair while they were both seeing someone else.

In a related report, Mark's former girlfriend Janine Chang had been posting depressing messages on her microblog for the past two days. While rumours are swirling that the actress is troubled by her former lover's newfound love, her manager explained that it was because the actress is mourning for the recent demise of her grandfather.
