Eason Chan to go on six-month hiatus

King of Cantopop, Eason Chan, is rumoured to go on a six-month hiatus, starting from next April, to salvage his marriage with Hilary Tsui for his beloved daughter's sake, while resting his strained vocal cords.

Eason's manager could not be reached for comment.

The relationship between the celebrity couple was reported to be on the rocks, after the two got into a huge fight following Hilary's involvement in the drug party scandal.

The singer appeared to be in low spirits during his concert in Beijing last weekend and his manager had to calm and appease him.

Though Hilary's manager denied the rumours that Eason had yelled at his wife and warned her to "behave decently", she revealed that the former actress has indeed been in a bad mood lately.

She added, "Anyone would be unhappy when such things happen."
