While the pair has been spotted openly expressing their affection for each other on numerous occasions they have never confirmed that they were dating.
At the North American premiere of Dangerous Liaisons with co-star Jang Dong-gun, Ziyi was all smiles, looking very much like a woman in love. At the press conference, she shared, “I’ve always pursued love (as) I’m someone who puts love first. I firmly believe that riches don’t matter in love – the only distinction is whether or not it’s real – which makes it a beautiful thing. “As long as I have love, I’m not afraid of suffering.”
Despite being unwilling to answer questions directly relating to her rumoured beau, the actress beamed when members of the media wished her well in her current relationship, simply expressing, “Thank you!”
