The Yim Ho directed FLOATING CITY (FAU SING) will open on May 19, starring Aaron Kwok Fu Sing, Charlie Yeung Choi Nei, Nina Paw Hee Ching, Annie Liu (Lau Sum Yau) and others. In the film, Sing Sing played the character from age 20 to 60. He not only had to play a young and energetic young man but also a weathered middle aged man, which was a huge acting challenge for him. Sing Sing said that the journey of life would grow with age, so he kept adjusting his mentality and even jumped into hard labor. Sing Sing had to chop firewood and pick rice, he even had to wash clothes while carrying a baby and experienced the tough life of the 70s grass root class.
Sing Sing said that many Hong Kong people had to work while taking care of their children, some would even work several jobs so perseverance was very important. He admired this character's hard work very much, finally he was able to go from a fishing village kid to a big company executive. Director Yim Ho said that Sing Sing was very suitable to play this character because actors had to have understanding about life to be
able to play the hardship and growth that the character experienced. Kwok Fu Sing, Yeung Choi Nei, Paw Hee Ching were able to do so. He praised Sing Sing as a very serious actor. He would discuss interpretation method with him. Even if he accepted a take, Sing Sing would ask to do another.
